The DLC is expected in the first half of 2016

Blood and Wine is the 2nd Expansion to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt .The first official announcement for its release stated that it will be available in the first quarter of 2016, but now the window has been expanded to first half of 2016. Regardless of the exact date and timing, it’s more important what it will bring. At the time of writing this post, I am actually still at work and waiting for the afternoon/evening to get my hands on the Witcher 3: Hearts of Stone, the first expansion of the game. It launched today and contains a brand new story with an average length of ~10 hours. It also introduces new gameplay mechanics and according to the early reviews, the Runewords hide huge potential for altering even the whole combat behavior of the player.

A quick note for all fans of the game, if you purchase the Expansion Pass, available on both Amazon and G2A for a very decent price, you will have access to both expansions.

It is understandable, that I will likely jump into this right away tonight and will spend the next couple of days in The Northern Kingdoms

Don’t miss out my Walkthrough of the Original Game as well as the New Expansion! Because I am overly excited about Hearts of Stone, I will likely start publishing new videos from it alongside the already running series of Wild Hunt :)
