Toys and collectibles are some of the favorite items of Star Wars fans. Playing, collecting, and displaying are super fun activities that bring people of all ages tons of fun. These are the SWC 2023 reveals by Hasbro, Jazwares, LEGO, and Funko!
Hasbro
One of the leading companies when it comes to Star Wars toys. Hasbro always reveals upcoming releases during important events and Star Wars Celebration 2023 is no exception. Here’s what you can expect to hit the shelves in the next months.
Black Series
To commemorate the 40th anniversary of Return of the Jedi, Hasbro is releasing some of the iconic characters from the movie. Preorders for most items begin at 1 pm ET, April 11.
Luke Skywalker with his iconic black outfit, black glove, and green lightsaber. ($24.99)
This Darth Vader might look the same as most other Vader figures but this one features a removable helmet and hand. ($24.99)
In my opinion, the best-looking Imperial trooper. This Imperial Royal Guard comes with a removable soft cloak and staff accessory. ($24.99)
RD-D2 is full of surprises and this version includes a periscope, antenna, and two arm accessories to enhance the playability. ($24.99)
The last scene of Return of the Jedi always brings joy to my inner child. Especially after Hayden Christensen was added. You will now be able to recreate this scene with the force ghosts of Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda, and Anakin Skywalker. ($77.99)
The mighty Jabba and Salacious Crumb can make your bounty hunter figures look even cooler. ($89.99)
Cad Bane’s return in The Book of Boba Fett was one of the best moments of the series, this figure is inspired by his live-action version. His iconic hat and two blaster pistols will make him the scariest bounty hunter in your collection. ($24.99)
This version is quite different from the first one. This Black Series Omega is now wearing the outfit Bad Batch Season 2. Her face also looks more mature, just like the series.
From the Gaming Greats series, we have this Darth Maul based on the “Old Master” appearance from Star Wars Battlefront II.
The 332nd Division of the Grand Army of the Republic served under Ahsoka during the Siege of Mandalore. To express their loyalty, the troopers painted their helmets very similar to Ahsoka’s face. This is the 332nd Clone Trooper Black Series Helmet! ($131.99)
If you have been to Galaxy’s Edge then you are familiar with Dok Ondar. This Ithorian is an experienced merchant and he’s now being released as ShopDisney exclusive.
Vintage Collection
The Vintage Collection reveals include more characters from Return of the Jedi, a Black Krrsantan figure and a brand new ship that excited many fans.
The Deluxe Krrsantan features a total of nine deluxe accessories that include an extra set of hands, a mug, his very small blaster rifle, and more. ($27.99)
Jabba’s Court 4-pack includes Ree-Yees, Velken Tezeri, Taym Dren-Garen, and Tessek. ($72.99)
Continuing the Return of the Jedi trend, it’s Moff Jerjerrod. If you want to recreate a scene with many officials this is a good option considering that secondary characters aren’t released that often. ($16.99)
The funny-looking Nien Nunb joins the vintage collection to aid the rebellion and his friend Lando Calrissian.
The biggest Hasbro reveal of the day is by far the Vintage Collection N1-Starfighter. It includes highly articulated Din Djarin and Grogu figures and a stand to display the ship. I haven’t bought a ship of this type in years but this one might change that. ($129.99)
Animatronics
Animatronic figures and droids are some of the most fun toys children can have. The movement, sounds, and additional features make them super entertaining, even if you are a grown-up kid. Chatter Back Chopper introduces Chopper, from Star Wars Rebels, and the upcoming Ahsoka series as an animatronic droid. Coming out in Fall 2023. ($80)
Jazwares
Micro Galaxy Squadron has quickly become my favorite Star Wars toy line. The team at Jazwares is willing to give us ships and vehicles that are more obscure while also covering the classic ones, something that as a fan from all eras I really appreciate.
Series 4 and 5 were revealed in its entirety and it’s something that I’m so excited about.
Series 4
Something that many of us thought would be impossible to have this soon but Jazwares actually did it. An AT-AT ($59.99) that includes General Veers and an Imperial Shuttle ($29.99) with Emperor Palpatine himself and two Royal Guards!
Series 4 is full of original trilogy ships, we’ll now be able to recreate space battles with the Y-Wing, Tie Bomber, Wedge’s X-Wing (Rare), and Biggs’ X-Wing (Chase)!
Source: MicroSquadron
The light armor-class ships are just as impressive as the bigger ones. The Vulture Droid, A-Wing, Tie Interceptor, Royal Guard Tie Interceptor, and Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder will make a fine addition to your collection.
Scout Class vehicles tend to be a little underwhelming in comparison to the other classes but Jazwares is really stepping up with these ones, mainly due to the figures included. The Series 4 Scout Class list is Echo + Swoop Bike, Luke + Speeder Bike, Scout Trooper + Speeder Bike, C-3PO + Escape Pod, Ewok + Glider, General Grievous + TSMEU-6 Wheel Bike (Rare), Captain Rex + BARC Speeder (Rare) and Paploo + Speeder Bike (Chase).
Series 5
Series 5 is still many months away but for whatever reason Jazwares decided to spoil us and show what’s coming after Series 4.
The Scout Class is getting more and more interesting with every series. My favorite ones are Aurra Sing, the Mandalorian Warrior, and Durge!
The Geonosian Starfighter and Cloud Car are two ships that I think deserve more love so it is very cool to see them as future releases. Don’t quote me on this, but there are rumors that one of the “classified” ships is Darth Vader’s black Jedi Interceptor, how cool is that?!
Kylo Ren’s TIE Silencer is a ship that will definitely stand out from the rest of the Starfighter Class ships and the B-Wing is the final piece to complete a full squadron of original trilogy rebel alliance ships! I have to point out that the Elite First Order TIE Fighter (RARE) says that it comes with TIE Pilots but this is incorrect. It is actually Finn and Poe Dameron.
The U-Wing also joins the Starship Class roster, this is the largest Starfighter ship so far and it can carry up to nine figures!
Battle packs are becoming more common in the MGS. Here are the Battle of Coruscant, and Battle of Endor Battle Packs.
If you think that one AT-AT is not enough it will please you to know that Jazwares is also releasing an Endor version of the AT-AT.
Which ones are you most excited about?

Funko

Star Wars Rivals is a new dueling game where players will pick a side (light or dark) and face each other with a team made of iconic Star Wars characters. These are the items included in Series 1.
Last but not least, the Loungefly Darth Vader crossbody bag was shown for the first time at SWC 2023. It is based of Vader’s helmet and the interior has a lot of cool images of the Sith Lord.
