The Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition for PC comes with some items for you to claim in-game. This guide will show you the Outfits, Weapons, and the Strike Piece – what they look like, how and when you can get them, and how to wear them!

How to get the Complete Edition Items in Horizon Forbidden West

Every copy of Horizon Forbidden West, will receive a bundle of online items for Aloy, regardless of where you buy it (Steam or Epic Games). This is because the only available version of the game for PC is the complete edition.

The items you receive in-game are the following and are really awesome in both design and stats (for early game):

  • Carja Behemoth Elite Outfit
  • Nora Thunder Elite Outfit
  • Blacktide Quen Commander Outfit
  • Carja Behemoth Short Bow
  • Blacktide Sharpshot Bow
  • Nora Thunder Sling
  • Apex Clawstrider Machine Strike Piece

You can upgrade some of these items through the Crafting System if you wish to.

How to claim your in-game items

You can claim your items as soon as you arrive at Chainscrape, the first settlement of the game. The way to do so is by accessing your Stash. The icon looks like a chest with some antlers on top.

Your Stash is where you can store all types of items for an unlimited amount of time. Every chest gives access to your Stash, you’ll be able to access it in any place that has one.

Check the Strike Pieces, Weapons, and Outfits sections on the left. This is where you’ll find every item. Just click on “Take” and the respective item will be transferred to your inventory. Remember that the weapons and outfits can be modified at any workbench.

To claim the Blacktide Sharpshot Bow and Blacktide Quen Commander Outfit, you need to complete the main story quest of the base game, unlock The Burning Shores area and go to Fleet’s End. The Bow is available from the Hunter trader and the outfit is sold by the Stitcher.

You can use the transmog system in the game to make it look as if Aloy is wearing the best visual outfit according to your taste and preference while she is actually wearing the strongest one with the best stats for the upcoming mission or fight.

To use transmog in Horizon Forbidden West, open your inventory and navigate to the Outfits tab. Select an Outfit with the look you want to use and click on the button “Apply Look” at the bottom of the screen. This will apply just the look of the Outfit, without the stats.

The Complete Edition comes with two Outfits for Aloy, two Weapons and a Strike Piece. The images below show how each item looks in the inventory and when equipping them.

Carja Behemoth Elite Outfit

This armor was inspired by the big and bulky Behemoth machine. It has resistance against Melee Damage (14) and Shock (16). It also provides the following skills: +1 Melee Damage, +1 Power Attack, and +1 Critical Strike. Upgrading it will unlock +1 Low Health Melee.

Nora Thunder Elite Outfit

This piece is used to play Machine Strike, a 1v1 game that requires strategic thinking in order to defeat the opponents. Each player has different pieces that resemble the machines of Horizon Forbidden West. This piece is based on a Clawstrider.
