Star Wars Hunters Gets A Release Date and new Trailer

After delays and zero updates from the developers, Star Wars Hunters finally gets a release date: June 4th, 2024

It has been almost two years since the announcement of Star Wars Hunters at SWCA 2022. The multiplayer battle arena game promised to be a fun experience with friends but a few days before its intended release we got the unsurprising news that the game would be delayed.

After that, we never got meaningful updates regarding the development of the game. The lack of communication from the developers led many to believe that the game had been canceled but with a new release date, those rumors are a thing of the past.

Star Wars Hunters Developers

Star Wars Hunters is coming out on June 4th, 2024. Originally, it was going to come out for Nintendo Switch but the official launch date reveal trailer shows that players will also be able to download it via Google Play and the App Store.

The official Star Wars social media accounts mention that you can pre-register to receive some rewards in-game but no more details are revealed.

Star Wars Hunters takes place after Return of the Jedi, around the time of The Mandalorian. At this point, the game has been in development for seven years.

The game has brand-new characters, all of them have a story and a unique playstyle to make sure that all players can pick someone that fits their approach to this type of game.

The most recent trailer looks fantastic but I am sure that the game won’t look like that. Since it’s being released on Nintendo Switch and on mobile we can’t really expect the graphics to be that good.

As much as I love the idea of a Star Wars battle arena game, we still need to experience the performance and playability of Star Wars Hunters.

To be honest I don’t understand why this game isn’t being released for PC, Xbox and Playstation. I have no doubt that players of said platforms would pour hundreds of hours into it. Monetization “features” probably…

The concept of the game is fun but we’ll have to wait for the release before deciding if it’s a good Star Wars game or not.
