The Vessel of Hatred expansion for Diablo 4 is available for pre-purchase. Here’s everything you need to know about the available Editions.
Much like Diablo 4’s base game editions, the Vessel of Hatred expansion has three different Editions for different price points. Each comes with its content, which is all available immediately after purchase, with one exception.
Below are each of these editions, what they offer, and our thoughts on whether they’re a good value or not. It’s worth noting that all of the extra content is available immediately, so everything below is considered a pre-purchase bonus, unlike the Diablo 4 Launch Editions.
What’s included in Vessel of Hatred Standard Edition
Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred’s Standard Edition only comes with the Snow Leopard Pet. Unless you also play Diablo Immortal, in which case you get a special Legendary Gem.
Coming in at 40 USD, you’re just paying for the expansion and getting a small bonus. Great for anyone who doesn’t want to spend a ton and doesn’t care about collecting cosmetics.
Vessel of Hatred Standard Edition Items OverviewWhat’s included in Vessel of Hatred Deluxe Edition
The Deluxe Edition Features a second pet which looks like a Siberian Husky. Alongside this we’ll also get a Premium Battle Pass Token, Cosmetic Armor for the Spiritborn Class when it launches, and a War Cat Mount and Armor bundle.
With this Edition costing 60 USD, being almost the same price as the standard launch edition it’s a steep price, even for what’s included.
The War Cat is currently the only non-horse mount we have available, so it’s unique in that regard. Whether you want the War Cat mount or not is what determines if you want the Deluxe Editon over the Standard Edition.
What’s included in Vessel of Hatred Ultimate Edition
The Ultimate Edition Includes 3,000 Platinum (Premium Currency), a Tiger Pet, Armor Sets for all Classes to match the Spiritborn Armor, Demon Wings and Angel Wings Back Cosmetic, and a Nahantu Portal Cosmetic.
Costing a whopping 90 USD, this pack is all about the cosmetics. If you’re a collector, it’s a great pack. Even if not, despite its price it’s still a decent value overall.
The reason we say this is the 3,000 Platinum included in this Edition. Alongside the Premium Battle Pass Token, that’s the Next four Battle Passes covered.
You could just as easily use it on cosmetics, but generally, you’ll get much more out of holding it for Battle Passes. It’s a decent deal if you’re able to afford it and avoid the temptation of spending that Platinum on other things.
