To start the campaign, StarWars.com has revealed the upcoming AT-AT Driver Helmet LEGO set from The Empire Strikes Back.
This is the twelfth helmet that comes to LEGO Star Wars. The set will be available on March 1st in online and physical stores
Rosario Dawson returns to Star Wars Celebration
We are still four months away from the event but the fact that this is where all new projects are going to be announced, makes it by far the most important weekend for Star Wars fans.
Season 2 of Ahsoka is rumored to be released sometime in 2026. It makes perfect sense for Rosario to be present. I’m really hoping to learn something about the new season from Ahsoka herself.
Sam Witwer, Diego Luna, Mads Mikkelsen, Doug Chiang, and Alan Tudyk are just some of the other guests who have been confirmed for Star Wars Celebration 2025. If you are curious about the other guests, make sure to check the updated list of guests for Star Wars Celebration 2025.
Destiny 2 meets Star Wars
Bungie made a surprising announcement that Destiny 2 is receiving accessories, emotes, armor ornaments, and finishes inspired by the Imperial Royal Guard (Royal Protector), Death Troopers (Covert Rangers), and Stormtroopers (Shock Enforcer).
Aside from these three cosmetics, the latest Destiny 2 developer stream also showed the Death Star II skin for the Ghost Shell. Prices are still to be announced but you can expect them to become available on February 4th.
Trials of the Jedi cover and official synopsis revealed
Trials of the Jedi by Charles Soule is the closing novel for the High Republic publishing initiative and it’s coming out on June 17th. The long fight against Marchion Ro and his Nihil is finally coming to and end.
On the cover, we can see Avar Kriss, Elzar Mann, and Burryaga alongside two more Jedi. All of them are wearing white and gold armor that resembles the uniform of Jedi Temple Guards.
This is the final stand against an enemy who has terrorized the Galaxy and even the Jedi, for too long. As you can see in the synopsis below, this is an all-or-nothing battle.
“The Force is everything. A single life connected to all life. All things connected to all other things. This is what the Jedi believe, and this is why they fight for life… and the light.
For too long, the light has been threatened by Marchion Ro, a sinister despot who will stop at nothing in his quest for power. The conflict with Ro and his marauding Nihil forces has left scars across the galaxy and held the Republic hostage. Countless lives have been lost, beacons of hope have fallen, and the collective courage and resolve of the Republic have been tested like never before. Through it all the Jedi Order has endured, an unwavering candle against the encroaching darkness.
But the Jedi have yet to solve the mystery of the Nameless creatures who feed on the Force. Ro has loosed them upon the galaxy, striking fear into the heart of even the most stalwart Jedi. And yet with every life saved and world freed from Nihil control, the all-consuming blight, which devours everything wherever it appears, threatens to wipe it all away.
Everything now depends on nine brave Jedi, led by Avar Kriss and Elzar Mann, who embark on a treacherous journey to the Nameless homeworld. Their quest: to finally solve the mystery of the Nameless and their connection to the Force, and to stop the blight before its damage becomes irreversible.
But a final confrontation with Marchion Ro awaits. Ro, who is willing to sacrifice everything he’s achieved to secure a final victory against the Jedi and carve his name into the very stars for all time.
Nothing less than the fate of everything, perhaps the Force itself, is at stake.”
New Comic releases this week
Comics are just as important as books for Star Wars. They often fill in gaps that other media can’t cover and it’s also a great way to see illustrations of places and characters that otherwise you’d never get to see. This week’s releases include the following issues:
A New Legacy: A Celebration of a decade of Marvel Star Wars comics with brand new stories featuring Darth Vader, Grand Moff Tarkin, Doctor Aphra, Black Krrsantan, and Scar Squadron.
A digital version is not currently available at the time of this publication. You can purchase the print issue from Marvel’s site or wherever you buy your comicbooks.
The High Republic Adventures #14: This Dark Horse series continues to cover Phase III of the High Republic. A battle in Eriadu marks the beginning of the final arc of the High Republic.
The High Republic Adventures (Annual 2025): An anthology issue that collects multiple numbers. The stories inside are focused around characters like Baron Boolan, Churo the Hutt, and Vernestra Rwoh.
