The seven pieces of Woedica’s Scales of the Oathbinder Totem are scattered across Dawnshore, the first region you visit in the Living Lands. Each of which can give you a powerful combat buff in Avowed.

What are Totems in Avowed?
A Totem is comprised of 7 pieces you can find scattered across a singular region of the Living Lands. You can assemble the Totem pieces to make an altar at your camp.
You can also buy a Quest Item from a Merchant in each region that gives you a hint about the location of each fragment of the Totem and keep track of which ones you’ve collected, but it’s not necessary to complete the Totem.
Each Totem is dedicated to one of the gods of Eora, and, when assembled and activated, each piece provides a unique combat buff themed around what the Eoran god represents.
There are 4 Totems you can assemble and each synergizes with a specific skill tree—Fighter, Ranger, Wizard, or Companions.
Since you can only have 1 Totem active at a time, you can’t mix and match buffs from different Totems. The gods will only help their devout, so it’s beneficial to find and assemble all 7 pieces, at least for your build.
You can’t begin assembling a given Totem at your camp until you get the Totem’s base, which is located at a shrine dedicated to the associated god in each region.
Woedica Totem Piece Locations
The Scales of the Oathbinder Totem is dedicated to Woedica. Its pieces are located in Dawnshore, the first region you’ll visit in the Living Lands.
If you prefer clues instead of exact locations, purchase the Fragments of the Scales from Sanza’s Emporium in Northern Paradis. You can follow the instructions in this guide without purchasing the notes.
Woedica (also known as the Burned Queen, Strangler, Oathbinder, and the Queen That Was) is the goddess of justice, law, oaths, promises, rulership, vengeance, memory, and hierarchies. She is depicted as an old noblewoman wearing a broken crown. Steel Garrote paladins worship Woedica and, some say, do her bidding.
Scales of the Oathbinder (Base)
You can obtain the Scales of the Oathbinder at the Shrine to Woedica at The Rise, northeast of Paradis, in Dawnshore.
The Scales of the Oathbinder is the base of Woedica’s Totem, so you’ll need to pick it up before you can assemble any of the other pieces at your camp.
Broken Crown Jewel
You can loot the Broken Crown Jewel from the back room at Sanza’s Emporium in Paradis Hightown in Dawnshore.
Sanza will make a remark about you being in the back room, but Avowed doesn’t have a crime system, so feel free to grab anything that isn’t nailed down!
Golden Flames
You can find the Golden Flames of Woedica on the cliffs facing the northeast side of Castol’s Folley in the bay of Dawnshore.
Golden Plaque of Oaths
You can find the the Golden Plaque of Oaths at Usher’s Hand in the Southern Embrace, due east of Paradis in Dawnshore. The Plaque is behind some grates in a ruined building. You’ll need to use ice on the grate to get through.
You can either cast an ice spell with your Grimoire of Elements or toss an Eye of Rymgrand (Grenade) at the grate.
Golden Plaque of Promises
You can find the Golden Plaque of Promises inside an exposed part of the lighthouse tower near the top at Claviger’s Landing .
Golden Scale of Justice
You can find the Golden Scale of Justice behind a barred door in the Market District of Southern Paradis. You’ll need to parkour across some roofs outside and enter through the balcony. The Totem piece is downstairs, guarded by a bunch of ghosts.
Your parkouring journey begins in the wooden scaffolding behind the Apothecary’s Shop in the Pearl District.
Golden Scale of Order
You can find the Golden Scale of Order on a cliff within the Pargrun Cache east of The Strangleroot at the northern edge of Dawnshore.
To reach this location, blow up the barrels next to the wall inside the east building in the ruined complex. Then climb the scaffolding to reach the top.
Woedica’s Scales of the Oathbinder Buffs
Woedica’s buffs improve the synergy between you and your Companions and have a couple effects associated with the Fire damage type.
Scales of the Oathbinder buffs include:

| Sympathy for the Damned | Critical Hits deal high Fire Accumulation (burning buildup) |
| Noblesse Oblige | Reviving a Companion grants rapid Health and Essence regeneration |
| The Power of Command | Manually activating a Companion ability increases your damage dealt for 5s |
| The Queen’s Burden | Grants +2 Intellect, +2 Resolve |
| Flames of Resurrection | Second Wind casts Ring of Fire (lvl 1 spell) |
