Star Wars Celebration 2025 Badges Art Revealed
The art for Star Wars Celebration (SWC) 2025 has been revealed and to say it’s amazing would be an understatement. The 17 pieces made by artist TAKUMI mix the ukiyo-e style art with some of our favorite characters from a galaxy far, far away.
They are all gorgeous but even if I am not able to attend the event, at least there’s the possibility of downloading and using them as background on my phone and PC.
Here are four of the badges featuring Darth Vader, Padmé Amidala, Cassian Andor, and Sabine Wren.
Luke and R2 are coming to Galaxy’s Edge
Batuu has hosted quite a number of characters that come from different eras of Star Wars. Kylo Ren, Rey, Chewbacca, Din Djarin, and more.
After many years, Luke Skywalker and R2-D2 will finally arrive at Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland Park.
Luke and R2 will appear during the limited-time Season of the Force event which will happen between March 28 and May 11, 2025.
Anthony Daniels and Joonas Suotamo Interviews in Star Wars Insider #230
Star Wars Insider is the official Star Wars magazine. Its exclusive content is probably the best way for regular fans to get to know some of the things that happened behind the scenes.
Issue #230 includes information about a new High Republic story, interviews with Anthony Daniels and Joonas Suotamo, a small look into the props used throughout the franchise’s history, and more exclusive content. You can get the magazine in physical format or digitally through sites like pocketmags.
Daisy Ridley is more involved in her new Star Wars film
Daisy Ridley recently revealed that she is a lot more involved with the upcoming film. The story will be about Rey leading a New Jedi Order and while that is all we know about the plot, it definitely looks like things are going into a different direction compared to the prequel trilogy.
She is no longer a young and inexperienced actress who just managed to land a leading role in a massive movie franchise. Since her debut as Rey, Daisy has appeared in multiple films and even produced a small number of them.
It’s impossible to tell how much output she has but to know that she is involved as a producer gives me some hope. I like Rey a lot, but not the direction they chose to go with her character.
I don’t know that I’d be a producer on it, but I certainly have been very involved. I’m involved in, well, not very involved, but I’m involved in as much as I know what’s going on, I know the story, I know what’s going on with the script, so I’m aware of all that. And I think what’s been really wonderful over the last few years is being more involved from the start to finish, really coming to set knowing this is the absolute best way we can tell this story. These are the best actors for the job. This is the best crew for the job. Having that confidence is so lovely. And it’s not that I didn’t have that before, but I’m much more cognizant of it now. So in that way, I’m looking forward to turning up, really knowing the ins and outs of what the journey has been, and we’re arriving at the absolute best place to tell this particular story.

The Bad Batch: Ghost Agents comic series launches
The first issue of a new series by Dark Horse starring Clone Force 99 is officially out. These events happen before the first season of The Bad Batch. Their mission is to track down a mysterious Separatist agent who managed to pull off a massive heist on Coruscant.
The High Republic Adventures #15
The battle against the Nihil continues on Eriadu. Qort, Farzala, and their local allies fight the massive Nihil army. Despite being outnumbered, the heroes do their best to hold on until Jedi and Republic forces arrive to save the day.
The Mask of Fear prepares us for Andor Season 2
Season 2 of Andor is the next big thing coming out. I’ve been eagerly waiting for this and now we’re just a couple of months away before it releases on April 22nd.
Reign of the Empire: The Mask of Fear is a new book written by Alexander Freed that has the same tone as Andor.
Its story takes place a few months after Order 66 and it revolves around politics. It’s dark, full of mysterious characters, plot twists and betrayal.
A worth reading for anyone who loves complex and slower-pace stories. The book is coming out on February 25th but our spoiler-free review is already available.
