There are a combined 17 Accessories scattered across Dawnshore, the first region in Avowed. We’ll show you what they are and where to get them!

Rings
There are 10 Rings in Dawnshore. You can equip up to 2 Rings at a time. Ring Quality does not necessarily mean t
Arcanist’s Ring
The Arcanist’s Ring gives 2 Intellect. It’s useful in the early game when you don’t have alternatives, especially for Wizards, but Intellect is one of the weaker stats.
Smart
+2 Intellect
You can loot the Arcanist’s Ring from a tiny chest near the smugglers with the Luminous Adra (Precious Light Quest) on Castol’s Folly in Dawnshore.
Check out our guide on the Arcanist’s setw for more information on how to get the rest of the items sharing the ring’s namesake.
Band of Transcendent Suffering
The Band of Transcendent Suffering turns you into a melee glass cannon. The Damage Reduction cost does not stop at 0%, so you will take more damage than you would if you had no Armor equipped.
Mortification
+35% Melee Damage
-100% Damage Reduction
You can loot the Band of Transcendent Suffering from a small chest at the bottom of the waterway in the center of Southern Paradis in Dawnshore.
Bitter Bonding
Bitter Bonding effectively allows you to steal a tiny bit life from your partner in combat. Keep in mind that if you deal 1000 damage, you get 10 HP back, so the leeching effect is quite small.
Draining
1% of your Attack Damage is restored as Health
There is a husband in Shantytown digging through the filth trying to find his wedding ring. Bitter Bonding is said wedding ring, so you can give up some money and someone else’s sentimentality by not giving back the ring.
Celestial Loop
The Celestial Loop makes you more resilient against Fire and Frost buildup, though neither is that much of a concern anywhere, so it’s not super valuable. It’s definitely not nearly as good as the Enchanted Suolenet.
Ward of the Sun and Moon
+15% resistance to Fire and Frost Accumulation
You get this ring instead of the Enchanted Suolenet (Amulet) if you choose to fleece Miteno, the guy at the pub in Shantytown in Dawnshore who’s freaking out about his pals’ Suolenets being stolen by seagulls rather than just giving them back as agreed at the end of his quest “Lost Suoles”.
Delver’s Caution
Delver’s Caution gives you 2 Dexterity and increases your vaulting/climbing speed by 15%. It’s a solid option in the early game, though I don’t think the Parkour Speed is a reason to hold onto this Ring over something with more Attribute Points.
Bleathorn’s Confidence
+2 Dexterity
+15% Parkour Speed
You receive Delver’s Caution after saving his life in the Temple of Eothas during the Dawntreader mission. He’ll give it to you if you speak to him outside the Aedyran Embassy in Southern Paradis afterwards.
Ondra’s Grace
Ondra’s Grace makes you slowly regenerate Health while wet, which means while standing in a puddle of water or swimming. The Ring does recover health pretty quickly, and in this way, it acts as an elegant out of combat health regeneration mechanism.
Tidal Remedy
Regenerate Health while wet
You can loot Ondra’s Grace from a chest behind a waterfall near the northwestern wall of Paradis, outside city limits.
Ring of Many Stars
The Ring of Many Stars gives you access to a significantly stronger version of Minor Missiles (lvl 1 Wizard ability), but it has a super long cooldown.
Minoletta’s Seeking Stars
Cost: 40 Essence
Cooldown: 300 seconds
Conjure 10 magical homing projectiles that bounce between targets
You receive the Ring of Many Stars from Sanza after finding all of his lost cartographers and completing all of the Mapping the Living Lands missions. Sanza is located in his Emporium in Northern Paradis.
Ring of Slow Essence
The Ring of Slow Essence recovers a flat amount of Essence every second, so while it is only useful for low-level Wizards, it effectively eliminates the Essence cost of abilities for anti-Intellectuals (referring to the stat).
If you’re a Fighter or Ranger and haven’t invested more than 5 points into Intellect, the Ring of Slow Essence might be one you use for much of the game.
Suspicions Confirmed
Slowly regenerate Essence
You can loot the Ring of Slow Essence from a chest inside a secret room along the western wall of Northern Paradis. To open the secret passage, press the button inside the nearby statue’s lantern.
Vindictive Band
The Vindictive Band allows you to apply Poison Accumulation with critical hits, so it works best with weapons and builds that invest in Critical Chance and land hits frequently, like Daggers and Bows, not Greathammers.
Laced Strike
Critical Hits deal Poison Damage
You receive the Vindictive Band from Dehengen in Claviger’s Landing in Dawnshore for completing her quest “Cabin Fever”, but only if you encourage her to befriend the Xaurip.
You get nothing froml the Xaurip if you kill it and get a little money from Dehengen instead if you don’t persuade her to befriend the Xaurip.
Wayfarer’s Ring
The Wayfarer’s Ring improves the effectiveness of your consumables. It’s fine if you have nothing else or want to RP as a Wayfarer, but I think if you feel you need this, you’re probably using potions too early or have bad armor.
Refreshing Catalyst
+20% Health and Essence regeneration from Potions and Food
You can loot the Wayfarer’s Ring from a corpse near some bears on the way to Runyd’s (the Watcher) House on The Rise in Dawnshore.
Amulets and Trinkets
There are 7 Amulets and Trinkets in Dawnshore. You can equip up to 1 Amulet or Trinket at a time. There is no practical difference between Amulets and Trinkets. They work the same way and occupy the same slot. They only slightly make the classification more accurate.
Enchanted Suolonet
The Enchanted Suolonet improves the amount of money you get from looting, not selling. Still, money is very finite, so this is absolutely worth equipping, especially in the late game.
Príncipi’s Prosperity
+20% Currency when looting coins
You receive the Enchanted Suolonet from Miteno in Dawnshore’s Shantytown as your reward for completing his quest “Lost Suoles” without trying to shake him down for more money.
Kithwarder
Kithwarder makes you take less damage from Kith, but makes you take much more from everything else. Kith are the dominant civilized races of Eora, including humans, aumaua, dwarves, elves, orlans, and godlike. Xaurips are not Kith.
Discerning Guard
+10% Damage Reduction from Kith
-10% Damage Reduction from other sources
If you know you’re about to fight a lot of Kith or you’re having a hard time against Kith in a specific area, it’s worth equipping.
You receive the Kithwarder from Aldrich, the guy in charge of the Dawnshore Bounty Board in Southern Paradis, after completing all 5 Bounties in Dawnshore.
Night-Mistress’ Favor
Night-Mistress’ Favor makes you regenerate Essence while you’re near one of your Companions. You’ll see a green and purple circular arrows icon pop up while the effect is active. It’s a nice effect, but there’s more competition for the Amulet/Trinket slot since you can only equip one.
Long for Embrace
Slowly regenerate Essence while close to a Companion
You receive the Night-Mistress’ Favor for completing Giuliana’s quest “A Lady Never Tells” at The Mermaid’s Den in Southern Paradis.
Rathun Figurine
The Rathun Figurine boosts your Fire Damage. If one or more of your weapons deals Fire Damage, I strongly recommend equipping the Rathun Figurine. The fact that the effect is called Lesser Pyro suggests the existence of a Greater Pyro, but that effect doesn’t seem to exist in the game.
Lesser Pyro
+10% Fire Damage
You can purchase the Rathun Figurine from the Shantytown Merchant in Dawnshore.
Steel Garrote Medallion
The Steel Garrote Medallion gives you +2 Attribute Points as Resolve. It’s a must-have for any would-be member of the Steel Garrote, but it gets outclassed by later Amulets that provide more Attribute Points.
Steadfast
+2 Resolve
You can loot the Steel Garrote Medallion from a separate corpse inside the Ruinous Cavern accessible from the western wall of Paradis. The corpse is located in a small alcove near the entrance/exit to the Cavern.
The Fantastic Alembic
The Fantastic Alembic saves you from needing to bother with brewing Grog or rummaging through your menus to find it, but because Grog is easy to make, this Trinket doesn’t offer much of an improvement.
Cleansing Elixir
Drinking a potion clears all your Accumulations
You receive The Fantastic Alembic from Sapiento de Falva after bringing him the Luminous Adra as part of his quest “Precious Light”. If you choose to do something else with the Luminous Adra, you cannot obtain this Trinket.
White Key Cameo
The White Key Cameo heals you substantially when reviving a Companion, which is nice, but not competitive. Companions don’t die very often, and when they do, a 50% heal probably won’t help you all that much.
I think you’re better off lowering the difficulty or bringing along a companion that can tank or heal, like Kai or Giatta.
United Front
Restore 50% of your Maximum Health when reviving a Companion
You can loot the White Key Cameo from a chest in t he attic of Claviger Eamund’s Estate in the Government District in Northern Paradis in Dawnshore. You can’t access this location until you get far enough in the Main Story quest “An Untimely End”
