The 20th anniversary of Revenge of the Sith will bring it back to the large screen, a new trailer for Season 2 of Andor came out with a style and a bang, Kathleen Kennedy addressed the rumors about her departure, and everything else that happened in the week of February 22-28, 2025.

Kathleen Kennedy is not retiring

Earlier this week, a rumor stating that Kathleen Kennedy would retire later this year spread like wildfire. There were many positive and negative reactions to this news but many people believed it even though it came from a less than credible source.

Deadline, a Hollywood reporter news site approached Kathleen Kennedy and asked her about these rumors. This is how she responded:

“The truth is, and I want to just say loud and clear, I am not retiring. I will never retire from movies. I will die making movies. That is the first thing that’s important to say. I am not retiring. What’s happening at Lucasfilm is I have been talking for quite some time with both Bob and Alan about what eventual succession might look like.”

For better or worse, she will still be around. Who might be the person to fill in her shoes once she steps out is a different topic.

Obviously, people are pointing at Filoni and Favreau as the most obvious choices but as outsiders, it’s hard to know who else is figuring in the process. We’ll have to wait until that happens and stop believing everything we read on the internet.

Revenge of the Sith celebrates its 20th anniversary

2025 marks twenty years of Revenge of The Sith. As we reported earlier this week, to celebrate this milestone, the movie is coming back to theaters for an entire week starting April 25th.

Locations have yet to be announced so keep an eye open, especially because this is an international event.

This is only the first of many announcements. We are likely going to get some special treats from companies like LEGO, Jazwares, Hasbro, Marvel, and more!

Andor Season 2 Trailer

After much anticipation, a new trailer for the second and final season of Andor is finally out. While brief, it reveals some of the things we are going to witness when it releases on April 22.

Director Krennic, Yavin IV, and Mon Mothma’s arc are the things that excite me the most. The trailer breakdown points out the most notorious things about it, including the odd schedule of all episodes.

Reign of the Empire: The Mask of Fear is out

A new novel by Alexander Freed focused on Mon Mothma, Bail Organa, Saw Gerrera, and the Emperor’s measures against those who defy him.

This political thriller is perfect for anyone who is a fan of the Imperial Agent storyline from Star Wars The Old Republic and Andor.

The Rise of Skywalker #1

The Comic Adaptation of The Rise of Skywalker released its first issue. There’s going to be a total of five issues. This is a good way for fans of comics and The Rise of Skywalker to have the story in a physical format. One of the selling points of this series is that it adds some scenes that didn’t make it into the final cut of the movie.
