Avowed’s Treasure Maps each give you a visual clue to the location of some powerful gear. We’ll show you what each treasure is and where you can find it in Galawain’s Tusks, the game’s fourth area.

How do Treasure Maps work in Avowed?
Each region has 3 Treasure Maps, each of which has a picture of a location with an X marking the spot where a Unique Item can be found.
The treasures themselves do not belong to any set and tend to be a bit more eccentric than the rest of the gear in the game, though they can still be worth using.
You can find Treasure Maps next to corpses or buy them from select Merchants for a paltry sum.
You do not need to acquire the Treasure Map to find the treasures themselves. If you’re thorough with your exploration, you can stumble upon the treasures without the map. Since you’re reading this guide, you don’t need to bother with the maps at all.
There is an Achievement, “Pathfinder”, for finding all the hidden treasures across the Living Lands.
Ancient Arrowhead Treasure Map
Ancient Arrowhead Treasure Map leads you to Scout’s Reach, an Amulet.
Ancient Arrowhead Treasure Map Location
You can loot the Ancient Arrowhead Treasure Map from a corpse near a bunch of beetles in the Writhing Ruins near the Shatterscarp Gate at the southern edge of Galawain’s Tusks.
Hint: Look for a clear cliffside view of Solace Keep.
Ancient Arrowhead Treasure Location
You can loot the Ancient Arrowhead Treasure from a chest on the edge of a cliff to the east of Warden’s Rest on the Salt Flat Farms in Galawain’s Tusks.
Scout’s Reach Treasure Overview
Scout’s Reach is an Amulet that offers +4 Attribute Points as Perception and is an objectively stronger version of Halma’s Fancy and the Tranton Family Talisman.
Intuitive
+4 Perception
It’s more valuable than something like the Pearlescent Icosahedral Helstone because Perception is a more impactful stat, but in general, you can respec so freely that the most important part of these Accessories is the total amount of Attribute Points offered.
My Loyal Shield Treasure Map
My Loyal Shield Treasure Map leads you to Time’s Tarnish, a Unique Shield.
My Loyal Shield Treasure Map Location
You can purchase My Loyal Shield’s Treasure Map from Stockkeeper Eberk, one of the Merchants at the Southern Warden Tower on The Sallow Steppe of Galawain’s Tusks.
Hint: Look for the tallest Godless tower in the Tusks.
My Loyal Shield Treasure Location
You can loot My Loyal Shield’s Treasure from a chest at the bottom of a ruined Godless tower along the lava river separating Twinedwood from the Slumbering Fields of Galawain’s Tusks.
To get inside the tower, you’ll need to press a button on the table outside.
Time’s Tarnish Treasure Overview
Time’s Tarnish is a Shield that offers some solid boosts to survivability, enabling you to block for longer and stop more melee damage from coming through.

Blocking has a 20% chance to refill 20 Stamina
Dull the Edge, Blunt the Point
10% chance to avoid melee damage
The Blade That Hungers Treasure Map
The Blade That Hungers Treasure Map leads you to the Umbral Needle, a Unique Dagger.
The Blade That Hungers Treasure Map Location
You can purchase The Blade That Hungers Treasure Map from Bulti, the chaplain of Woedica in Solace Keep in Galawain’s Tusks.
Hint: Look around the Ash Forest.

You can loot the The Blade That Hungers Treasure from a chest nestled in a corner of the Ash Forest west of The Living Archives in Galawain’s Tusks.
Umbral Needle Treasure Overview
The Umbral Needle is a Unique Dagger that lets you deal more damage to enemies with max Health and can be Enchanted to either steal life from enemies you damage or increase your Attack Speed on Special Attack kill.
Fampyr’s Bite
Restore 2% of the damage you deal as Health
Fampyr’s Feast
Restore 4% of the damage you deal as Health
Black Wind
Killing an enemy with a Special Attack gives you +30% Attack Speed for 10s
Greater Opening Strike
+15% Damage against enemies with full Health
