The Path of Valoris a parkour challenge for Naoe, located in the Izumi Settsu region in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Its rewards include Tamakichi’s Hood headgear and a Knowledge Point.

What are the Hidden Trails
Hidden Trails are linear traversal challenges in the open world where Naoe has to parkour a difficult terrain from the starting point to the end, where a treasure chest awaits.
Several of the Paths are part of The Assassins story arc for Naoe where she discovers the secrets of the Assassin’ Creed in Japan and her own family’s past and role in all of this.
The Hidden Trails are labeled on the map with red markers and their names start with “Path of …”. You can complete them at any point. There is no combat involved on these Paths (except at the Kii Assassin Outpost). The gear piece you receive in the end, will usually try to match the current level of your character.

How to start the Path of Valor
The Path of Valor starts in the Senri Hills sub-region, northeast of Amagasaki and west of Toneyama Post Town, in Izumi Settsu.
To get to the start of the Path of Valor from the Viewpoint, turn to the north, and drop to the ground. You’ll see two wooden posts with yellow pieces of cloth attached to them.

Use Naoe’s hook to get to the other side. Follow the yellow marks and turn left. You’ll see a tall wall with more yellow marks, climb it and continue.
After a few seconds, you are going to need Naoe’s hook again. After the landing, get to the top of the massive wall that’s in front of you.
There’s a small wooden bridge followed by a rope, walk over it and turn left as soon as you drop. There’s a slope ahead, slide it as smoothly as possible. You can also jump halfway down.
After a few steps, you’ll be able to spot a huge rock. (This is only true when there’s proper daylight). That is where you’re heading. The first steps to get there require you to walk over wooden sticks, navigate with the climbing nodes, slide down another slope, and climb a wall. In that order. Everything is marked with yellow, and it’s all in the same direction.
Next, use the big log and jump into the protruding branch that’s in the middle of the cliff. As you’d probably imagine, this requires Naoe’s hook. For the last segment you’ are going to walk over a rope that’s no more than 5m long.
The treasure chest is in front of the split rock. Depending on the position of the sun it can be hard to spot from a distance. It contains Tamakichi’s Hood epic headgear. This will also complete the Path of Valor and reward you with a knowledge Point.

This is an epic headgear piece for Naoe with an embedded Engraving that increases her Critical Chance at night. It is particularly good for stealth gameplay early on.
