Disney Releases Second Trailer for Andor Season 2

Despite just being under a minute and a half, this trailer reveals a few details that could be teasing some important moments of the series.

The first thing that caught my eye was the Gozanti-Class Cruiser arriving where Brasso and Bix are located. This small behemoth carries both ships and troops.

The same ship was stolen by Bo-Katan and Din Djarin in season 2 of The Mandalorian. This cruiser is a small fortress by itself, using it against civilians is more than overkill. You can tell that the Empire is done playing games.

This palace has a landing platform with an Imperial Shuttle waiting there. My guess is that this is Eriadu, Grand Moff Tarkin’s planet.

Thanks to The Bad Batch, we know that some very important meetings between the most high-ranking Imperials take place there. With Krennic being in charge of project Stardust, it’s obvious that he’d be summoned by Tarkin.

Eriadu

“The monster will come for us all!” This is definitely the speech Mon Mothma gives after finding out what happened in Gorman.

After this speech, she is forced to escape the Empire and live her life behind. Definitely one of Mothma’s most important moments. What happens after the speech can be seen in Star Wars Rebels.

Mon Mothma speech

In Season 1 we understood how much people like Luthen and Mon Mothma are putting on the line. With how dire the situation is, Mothma took extreme measures by requesting Davo Sculdun’s help but in order to get that help she must allow Leida, her daughter, to marry Davo’s son.

That idea sounded completely absurd at first but it slowly turned from unlikely to inevitable. This trailer shows the actual Chandrilan wedding. It’s going to be painful to see how Mothma surrenders her daughter only to flee from the Empire later on.

Leida wedding

The scene where Dedra Meero appears in a very visible bad state is probably the most intriguing thing for me.

Dedra is having issues to breath; I know that many people probably think that this is Vader’s doing. As cool as that would be, that’s probably just fans wanting some fan service.

Dedra Meero panic attack

No, I bet that what is actually happening is Dedra experiencing a panic attack. Shaking, sweating, hyperventilation, intense fear, nausea, and trembling are some of the symptoms.

The important question is: what would make her have a panic attack? The only thing that comes to my mind is something extremely gruesome and cruel, just like the Gorman massacre.

So far, she has appeared to be a dedicated and cold woman with both ambition and skill. Personally, I am not a hundred percent certain that she is evil like many other Imperials. I think this might be a turning point for Dedra Meero.

There are a good number of cases where Imperial personnel realized that they were on the wrong side. Iden Versio, Lindon Javes, Finn, and Agent Kallus are just a few examples of it.

Welcome to the Rebellion

Hearing Cassian Andor say “Welcome to the Rebellion” is what gave me the feeling that someone from the Empire is going to defect. I’m extremely curious to see who it is and how it happens.
