Viewpoints are a staple feature in the Assassin’s Creed series. These points are high up and offer a view of the surrounding area. When you reach a viewpoint, you’ll fill in a part of your map with points of interest in the surrounding area. You’ll know you’re close if you see the hawk perched on the viewpoint.
These points of interests can be other viewpoints, unexplored locations, vendors, you name it. It’s always good to have a view of your surroundings as Assassin’s Creed Shadows has a rather large map.
What is a Kakurega
A kakurega is a safe house for Naoe and Yasuke. You can quick travel to any of the kakurega locations you have unlocked at any time.
When you discover a kakurega, they’ll appear gray (icon) but will turn yellow once you unlock them with mon. A kakurega will cost 800 mon to unlock by default.
You can resupply your rations, tools, and ammo at these locations. You can also recharge scouts, use the storage box, or check the contract board for the region you’re in. You’ll build one in your hideout as you complete the tutorial levels.
Upgrade your Hideout’s Kakurega
If you want to find each and every kakurega, you’ll need to upgrade your hideout’s kakurega to level 3. At level 3, you’ll be able to find more kakurega locations and reduce the cost to unlock them by 30%. This makes unlocking a new kakurega cost 560 mon instead of 800.
