Star Wars galaxy map gets an update
The galaxy of Star wars is incredibly vast. There are over six thousand systems, each one with different cultures, history, biomes, ecosystems and mysteries.
While we have learned a lot about many of them through books, comics, games, movies and series; the truth is that there are many more which have not been explored in these stories.
StarWars.com has updated the galaxy map with the basic info of all the current systems (6,058 to be precise) of the galaxy: System, Sector, Region, and Grid. The map is divided into 10 main regions:
- Deep Core
- Core
- Colonies
- Inner Rim
- Expansion Region
- Mid Rim
- Outer Rim
- Hutt Space
- Corporate Sector
- Unknown Regions
- It also includes the five main trading routes.
