Kathee Sackhoff tells her struggles after S3 of The Mandalorian, Lucasfilm gives us a sneak peek at Visions Volume III, a new The High Republic art book, and everything that happened in the week of August 16 – August 22, 2025.
First look at Star Wars Visions: Volume III
During Lucasfilm’s first-ever panel at Anime NYC, they presented the official poster for the upcoming stories in Star Wars: Visions Volume III.
For the third volume, we will have eturning studios from Volume 1 Kamikaze Douga, Kinema citrus Co., Production I.G, and TRIGGER, and new Visions participants ANIMA (in co-production with Kamikaze Douga), david production, Polygon Pictures, Project Studio Q, and WIT Studio.
This art is a good teaser of what we can expect to see in terms of visual storytelling and design. In case you aren’t aware, Ronin from “The Duel,” F from “The Village Bride,” and Lah Kara from “The Ninth Jedi,” are returning to continue their stories.
All nine shorts of Volume III will be available on October 29, 2025.
Katee Sackhoff opens herself up
Katee Sackhoff, who most of us know for her work as Bo-Katan in The Clone Wars and The Mandalorian, discussed how vulnerable and lost she felt after playing the Mandalorian warrior in the third season.
It’s not rare to hear that actors involved in Star Wars go through some issues during or after the process. The reasons can change: the reception of the public, how it affects their careers, personal life, and self-esteem.
Those who have been vocal about it only do it after many years have passed without going into much detail. Katee doesn’t sugarcoat it. She is very open and vulnerable about how broken she felt after playing Bo-Katan. It’s strange even to see someone with such a role talk about it.
Broadsword shares timeline for SWTOR content
SWTOR story content was delayed significantly due to the SAG-AFTRA Video Game Voice Actor Strike (and non-US voice actors striking in solidarity). The strike ended in June of this year, but they weren’t able to record the voice lines.
To have more transparency with the players, Broadsword has released their plans for upcoming content. You can read all the details in Endonae’s breakdown.
