Learn where to find all of Nowaki’s Ambushes in the Claws of Awaji DLC for Assassin’s Creed Shadows. After the defeat of the Sanzoku Ippa, remnant forces still threaten Awaji.

All That We Leave Behind quest
To start this quest, you’ll need to complete the Claws of Awaji story. From there, return to the Sumoto Kakurega where you’ll find Konatsu. Talk to her and she’ll tell you about remnant shinobi and spies from the Sanzoku Ippa.
After talking to Konatsu, the Objective board will reveal two new circles of targets. These are Nowaki’s Ambushers and Yasuhira’s Spies. Both are filled out concurrently and assassinating targets from one circle can reveal targets from the other.
Nowaki’s Ambushers are often found in pairs and are exceptionally dangerous. They lay traps around their camps and deal massive damage with their Bleed afflictions. Take them down swiftly and without mercy.
You’ll receive 2,000 XP, 2 Mastery Points, and a piece of Epic Gear for each of Nowaki’s Ambushers you defeat.
Ando Masamune and Goto Shinpachi
Your first revealed target will be Ando Masamune. He was seen at the Trail of Naruto on the southwest area of Awaji. He shares a camp with another ambusher, Goto Ginpachi.
If you get to the west side of the island they’re on, you can climb the cliff and immediately hide into some bushes, out of their line of sight.
Chiba Hachibei and Suganuma Tenma
Chiba Hachibei and Suganumba Tenma are found between Kannoji Temple and Sannomiya Shrine in western Awaji. They’ll be fishing at a small dock in the river.
After assassinating them, the trail runs cold and you’ll need to take down some of Yasuhira’s Spies to get a new lead on the remaining Ambushers. Alternatively, you can read on to learn their location.
Inoue Yonekichi, Ishida Shota, and Nitta Koheji
The remaining Ambushers can be found in a small ruined camp south of Iwaya Castle. It’s very considerate of them to be bunched up in a small area where you can easily toss Kunai or summon Yagoro.
Rewards
After finishing off the Ambushers, you’ll gain some standard and partially useful rewards. If you’ve also completed Yasuhira’s Spies, return to Konatsu at the Sumoto Kakurega for additional XP when wrapping up the quest, All That We Leave Behind.
