Lucasfilm Publishing just hosted a panel at New York Comic Con 2025 where they revealed some of the upcoming titles for 2025 and 2026.
There’s a little bit of everything: comics, novels, behind-the-scenes stuff, a manga, and even something for the younglings out there.
Doug Chiang: The Cinematic Legacy (Volume I) & The Star Wars Legacy (Volume II)
Doug Chiang first joined Lucasfilm for The Phantom Menace. Since then, he has been involved in Attack of the Clones, Revenge of the Sith, Rogue One, The Force Awakens, The Mandalorian, and many more.
At NYCC, we got a sneak peek at the upcoming two-volume set, which compiles Chiang’s career work, from the beautiful Naboo N-1 Starfighter to the powerful podracers and countless droids, ships, creatures, and characters.
The companion volume in this set, The Cinematic Legacy, is dedicated to Chiang’s work prior to his arrival at Lucasfilm and his early work, from student films and commercial work to working at Industrial Light & Magic. Release date: December 2, 2025.
