SWTOR’s first look at Update 7.8, Lucasfilm Publishing reveals titles for 2025 and 2026, Star Wars Eclipse is still being worked on, and everything that happened in the week of October 11 – October 17, 2025.
Star Wars: Eclipse is still under development
David Cage, head of Quantic Dream, posted an update on what has been happening with their studio since 2018. Which basically announces an expansion of the studio and the team that runs it.
Star Wars: Eclipse was announced at the end of 2021 with an epic cinematic trailer, and we haven’t received any updates since, which naturally led to rumors of its cancellation.
While Cage didn’t mention any details, he reassured that Star Wars: Eclipse is still being developed. No other games were mentioned, so that has to be a good sign. Right?
Of course, development of Star Wars: Eclipse continues, and we are eager to share more with you in the future.
