Disney shut down a movie that focused on Ben Solo, Life Day is coming to Disney Studios, and everything else that happened in the week of October 18 – October 24, 2025.

Could a Ben Solo movie follow in Deadpool’s steps to release?

In a recent interview, Adam Driver revealed that he had an idea for a Ben Solo sequel film that was developed for two years with the help of Steven Soderbergh, all of this with full support from Lucasfilm, Kathleen Kennedy, and Dave Filoni.

After pitching the idea, they called Scott Z. Burns to write a script. According to Driver, it was one of the coolest scripts he had ever been a part of.

They presented the script and Lucasfilm loved it, but it was Bob Iger and Alan Bergman who shut down the whole project. The movie was called “The Hunt for Ben Solo”.

The news of this has spread on the internet as fast as the Rakghoul Plague, and fans are spamming #SaveTheHuntForBenSolo on social media. Fans even hired a plane with a banner that says “Save the Hunt for Ben Solo” to fly over Disney Studios.

I would love to see a movie based on Ben Solo, but I doubt the higher-ups at Disney will reverse their decision.
