Star Wars Visions: Volume 3 has just released
The third season of Star Wars Visions is out. For those who are not aware of it, Star Wars Visions is a project that allows some of the best animation studios to create their own Star Wars stories.
These stories are not canon and happen within their own universes. This gives them full creative freedom to come up with something completely unique.
It started with 9 anime studios with Volume 1. In Volume 2, the chosen studios were from different countries, and for Volume 3, they went back to 9 anime studios.
Volume 3 brings six new stories and three sequels. You can read some of my thoughts in my review.
Qimir was going to be the first Knight of Ren
The Art of Star Wars: The Acolyte is an upcoming book that will let us see some of the behind-the-scenes for the series. Concept art, developing stages, drafts, and more. The excerpt of this book has the following quote from Leslye Headland, showrunner of The Acolyte:
It was in the design of the character, as well as knowing that we were going to introduce Darth Plagueis, who has to end up with Palpatine as his apprentice. Following the Rule of Two – a precept that limited the Sith to just two at any given time, a master and an apprentice – one way to keep it going it is if the Stranger is the first Knight of Ren, part of a Sith-adjacent cult that we know eventually survives.
This would have been a great way to introduce the Knights of Ren without interfering with the Plagueis/Palpatine story. It’s a shame that we won’t see it on a screen. If that ever happens, it’s probably going to be on a novel or comic series.

New Star Wars x Crocs Collaboration
A new collaboration between Star Wars and Crocs was released on October 29. This time, we have Darth Vader and R2-D2.
Vader’s have the iconic Sith Lord Mask with its iconic red eyes. It also features a graphic of Vader’s lightsaber on the side panels.
The shoes inspired by R2-D2 have a small pair of droid legs attached to the heel strap. The rest of the shoe is painted with a graphic that mimics the front side.
