What are Kusarigama Kits

Kusarigama Kits are a type of weapon kit allow you to customize the appearance of your Kusarigama, the sickle on a weighted chain you can unlock by learning The Way of the Kusarigama in Teshio Ridge. Weapon kits have no impact on your combat performance whatsoever.

Since the Kusarigama is more of a semi-optional secondary weapon you get in the late game, there aren’t nearly as many Kusarigama Kits available compared to Sword Kits.

Most Kusarigama Kits are sold by specific vendors or given as rewards after completing certain quests.

Crafted Defeat

Crafted Defeat features a basic black and white design that shows signs of age.

Crafted Defeat is the default Kusarigama Kit that comes with the Kusarigama you unlock at Master Enomoto’s Dojo in Teshio Ridge at the end of the quest “The Way of the Kusarigama“.

Dragonfly’s Breath

Dragonfly’s Breath has a darker wood handle covered with cerulean painted dragonflies. The metal aspects are silver. Strangely, this specific blue is not present on any of the Dragonfly Armor dyes, though it still looks decent with Archer in the Water and Forgotten Rust.

You can purchase Dragonfly’s Breath from Ran the Bowyer after unlocking the Kusarigama. You can find her at most hubs throughout Ezo, including at the Red Crane Inn in Teshio Ridge.

Golden Cut

Golden Cut has a plain wooden grip with etched gold ginkgo leaves embellished on the ends. It fits with the ginkgo weapon theme and dyes by the same name.

You can purchase the Golden Cut from the Oshima Coast Merchant at Matsumae Residences/Castle.

Kusarigama of Master Enomoto

The Kusarigama of Master Enomoto features a golden etched sickle, teal handle, with decorative copper embellishments depicting different animals. The kit matches the color scheme of the Blades on a Stream dye on the Onryo Armor the best.

You can claim the Kusarigama of Master Enomoto at his dojo in Teshio Ridge after murdering his grandson and wrecking his statue as part of the quest “The Kusarigama’s Shame”.

Lily’s Touch

Lily’s Touch has a black base with a red spider lily painted on the handle. It looks good with any of the black and red dyes, but it’s born to be used with the Spider Lily Armor.

You can purchase Lily’s Touch from the Crimson Dye Beach in Ishikari Plain after unlocking the Kusarigama in Teshio Ridge.
