Alongside the Attack on Titan quest, Ubisoft also released a cosmetic pack that comes with AOT-themed Legendary Items. Here’s all you need to know about their appearance, price, and how they can impact your gameplay.
Table of contents
Legendary Armor Sets in Assassin’s Creed Shadows are high tier pieces of gear with powerful engravings providing unique effects to allow you to create and fine-tune your optimal build. They are also very distinct in design and style. You can use Transmog to alter the appearance of your gear and replace it or parts of it with something else you own.
Freedom Set Visual Overview
This is my favorite set of the pack. Naoe wears not only the classic Survey Corp uniform, including the iconic jacket and blade, but she is also wearing Mikasa Ackerman’s distinctive red scarf.

Titan Set Visual Overview
With its armored bone plates and exposed muscle serving as Yasuke’s armor, the grotesque Titan set is clearly based on the Armored Titan. To reinforce the fantasy that you are playing as one of the titans, you have three engravings that push you towards a very basic but powerful combat style.

How does it feel playing with them
Playing as a Titan feels fun, but it’s also awkward. You can just run over every opponent, and they will die from the engraving effects. I put this to the test in multiple bandit camps, and it works great when there aren’t many ranged enemies. However, it takes a lot of time to kill a small number, even if they are weak.

The combination of the Kanabo with the Amulet feels very counterintuitive. With the Empty Spinal Fluid Syringe Amulet, you have to hit enemies in order to gain health. Something quite hard to do when you are wielding the heaviest and slowest weapon in the game.
Because of this, it’s incredibly harder to survive in places like castles. Keep in mind that to stay true to the role-playing, I only used the Kanabo and Bull Rush. You probably won’t face these issues with a katana.
Turning Naoe into a Survey Corp was a lot more fun for me, mainly because of the Tidal Wave Strike that replaces Posture Attacks when using the Snap Blade. It lets you attack multiple enemies in a few seconds. I couldn’t help but feel that I was impersonating Captain Levi after I killed at least a dozen enemies with it.

To be honest, being able to perform three quick dashes without any drawback or cost doesn’t feel balanced. It removes a lot of the skill needed to deal with many opponents as Naoe, though I won’t deny that it’s extremely satisfying and fun.

My favorite moment was doing the Attack on Titan quest dressed as a Survey Corp., especially when doing the AOT-themed mission. For some minutes, I truly felt as if I was playing a story from the anime.

Should you buy the pack
This pack costs $20, which isn’t cheap for a few cosmetic items. In terms of visuals, I believe that they absolutely nailed it. I like AOT, but don’t consider myself a dedicated fan. With that said, I’m still having a great time using these cosmetics. Both because of how they look and the gameplay options they provide.
If you love Attack on Titan and can afford it, I think you should consider purchasing it. However, this only applies if you plan to continue playing Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Spending $20 on cosmetic items for a game you don’t play is not worth it. At least not to me.

At this point, we don’t know how many updates are left for the game. Part of the 2026 roadmap should be revealed in the upcoming months. You can wait a bit to learn if there’ll be more content and decide after that.
You can’t return or ask for a refund after purchasing this or any other cosmetic pack. Think carefully if purchasing it is worth it for you in the long run.
