What are Green Energy Crystals
Green Energy Crystals are quartz crystals infused with Green Energy ions. You must collect and deposit them at the Altar of Legacy in Fury Green. This room is south of Base Camp and you’ll use the terminal here to deposit the crystals.
You’ll receive rewards for depositing 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% of the crystals. Not only are these useful rewards that you’ll want, but you’re also required to achieve 100% to obtain the Memory Fruit from the Sacred Tree.
Where to find Green Energy Crystals
You’ll find a majority of the crystals while driving around Sol Valley on Vi-O-La. You can drive through these or blow them up with Charge Beams and Missiles. These are easy to spot as you’re driving, so take the time to pick them up when you’re in the area.
These crystals will drop Energy and Ammo if you run over them with Vi-O-La. Over time, they’ll respawn but as gray crystals. While the gray crystals won’t give Green Energy Crystals, you’ll still get Energy and Ammo from them.
It’s best to focus on large sources of Green Crystals before combing the desert for crystals. You can get these deposits from Gibardaum Rocks and Lamorn Shrines found in Sol Valley.
Gibardaum Rocks
You’ll occasionally find these large gray rocks with green veins, these are made of Gibardaum. These hold large crystal deposits within, but you’ll need the Psychic Power Bomb to bust them open.
Lamorn Shrines
The Lamorn Shrines within Sol Valley contain large pots filled with Green Energy Crystals. You can blast these open to get large deposits and help speed your way to the rewards you’ll earn.
Many of these shrines will require you to unlock the Fire Shot, Ice Shot, and Thunder Shot to access. But in return for completing them, you’ll receive upgrades for your elemental weapons!
Fury Green – Jungle Path
If you’re looking to get every single crystal, don’t forget about the cluster at the Jungle Path in Fury Green. This is the room you reach with a Morph Ball after defeating Carvex.
Use the Psychic Lasso to open up the Garden of Remembrance and Morph Ball back into the tunnel to Jungle Path. Alternatively, go through the tunnel in the Ceremonial Chamber.

Rewards
As mentioned previously, you’ll want to turn in crystals at the Altar of Legacy when you’ve achieved 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% of your goal. You can find your current progress under the Mission Tab in the Menu.
25% Crystal Reward – Psychic Beam Upgrade
When you turn in 25% of the crystals, you’ll receive an upgrade to your Psychic Beam. This is a fantastic upgrade to your primary weapon and is something you’ll want to get as soon as possible to make the game easier.
Each of your shots with the Psychic Beam deal more damage and travel faster than before. Your shots will also change from a purple/blue color to an orange/purple color.
50% Crystal Reward – Control Beam Upgrade
When you deposit 50% of the Crystals, you’ll unlock the Control Beam Upgrade. By holding down the B or L button, you’ll increase the speed of the Control Beam.
75% Reward – Green Energy Crystal Finder
The third upgrade will allow you to detect Green Energy Crystals on your radar. This is good for finding the remaining crystals in Sol Valley. It has a very long range, but it won’t span the entire map of Sol Valley.
The signals in the radar are determined by weight. The more crystals there are in an area, the larger they’ll appear on the radar. It’s easy to forget those tiny crystals on the edge of formations, don’t forget to pick those up too.
100% Reward – Legacy Suit and Memory Fruit
When you reach the 100% goal, you’ll be rewarded with the Memory Fruit. You’ll need this and find all the Mech Parts to enter Chrono Tower.
More importantly you’ll unlock the final suit, the Legacy Suit! This suit allows you to consume 35 Missile Ammo in exchange for temporary invincibility!
To activate invincibility, switch to the Psychic Visor and hold the R button. This will consume 35 missiles in exchange for about 28 seconds of invincibility. While active, your visor hue shifts to various colors and any normal enemies that get near you disintegrate!
100%+ Crystal Reward – Gallery Unlocks
If you obtain each and every single crystal in the game, you’ll unlock some more art in the Gallery found at the Main Menu.
The art you unlock is concept art of the zone entrances in Sol Valley, Lamorn Shrine Concept art, and enemy concept art.
