Lists all LEGO Star Wars sets retiring in 2026 with specific dates for each one, plus seven sets you might be interested in choosing over the rest for your collection.
Just in 2025, LEGO released a total of 755 sets, in addition to older sets they’re still producing. Those are record numbers, but it also means that more sets are being retired in 2026.
For LEGO Star Wars, the number of sets retiring this year is 31. Out of those, there are 7 sets that I consider more worthy for purchasing over the others.
At the bottom of the article, you will find a table listing all the retiring sets along with their relevant information.
7 sets you should consider over the others
Some sets have a higher impact on the fans. This can be due to multiple reasons: it is the version of said set, it has never been done before despite being in Star Wars for a long time, people think that LEGO would never make it, it is unique, it pairs extremely well with other sets.
These are some of the reasons I considered when choosing to highlight these seven sets. Obviously, this is just my biased opinion.
If I had a specific budget to spend on LEGO, these are the sets I would choose over the rest.
AT-TE Walker
This set was released back in 2022. Arguably, the best AT-TE ever made, with the cherry on top being Commander Cody minifigure.
We had to wait nine years for a new version of this beloved Clone Wars-era vehicle, and who knows how much time will pass before they release a new one. This set retires July 31, 2026.

The Dark Falcon
This set is inspired by the LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy – Pieces of the Past series. In this alternate universe, nothing is as you remember.
Heroes become villains, creatures are combined with monstrous/hilarious results, and everything that you know of Star Wars is there, but not in the way you’d expect.

Aside from the unique color, it comes with Darth Jar Jar, Bounty Hunter C-3PO, Darth Dev, Darth Rey, Beach Luke, and Jedi Vader minifigures.
I believe this to be the goofiest and most unique Star Wars set to date. Getting it after 2026 is going to be hard and expensive. This set retires December 31, 2026.

The Mandalorian’s N-1 Starfighter
I really like this set because it pairs perfectly with the already retired UCS Razor Crest. We might not get to see this ship in The Mandalorian and Grogu movie. If that is the case, then the possibility of this set ever returning is very low. This set retires December 31, 2026.

Captain Rex Y-Wing Microfighter
I’m not a fan of Microfighters, but this one is special because it’s one of the two ways you can get the Captain Rex minifigure. The second way is by purchasing the massive and very expensive UCS Venator.
Even if the Microfighter is never assembled, this one is worth getting just for the minifigure. This set retires July 31, 2026.

UCS Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser
Definitely one I expected to last a bit longer (because I have not been able to get it). The UCS Venator is a fantastic piece for anyone who loves The Clone Wars.
It’s not too crazy to think that this will be the first and last UCS version of the Venator. Just keep in mind that you need a lot of space to display it. It comes with a Captain Rex minifigure and a black plaque. This set retires December 31, 2026.

UCS Millennium Falcon
Without a doubt, one of the most iconic LEGO Star Wars sets ever released. The UCS Millennium Falcon has been around for almost nine years. I find this one odd because 2027 marks the 50th anniversary of Star Wars.
I’d expect LEGO to have this on shelves as part of that celebration, but perhaps they have something special awaiting us. Once this set is gone, third-party sellers are going to massively increase its price. This set retires December 31, 2026.

UCS Jabba’s Sail Barge
Released in 2024, this set is the most complete version of Jabba’s memorable ship, with the two previous ones being a lot smaller. Because this is a UCS set, the next version will probably be a lot smaller, just like the first iterations.
Not all the included minifigures are too appealing, but this is still a fantastic piece to display. This set retires December 31, 2026.
