Din Djarin and Grogu are going to Tokyo Disneyland, Star Wars Insider is coming to an end, Galactic Tales of Terror preorder, and everything Star Wars that happened in the week of February 21 – February 27, 2026.

Prepare to say goodbye to Star Wars Insider

For almost 40 years, Star Wars Insider has been the ultimate magazine for anyone who is a Star Wars fan and wants to learn more about behind-the-scenes details.

From exclusive interviews with actors to learning about the complex creative and production processes that are involved in creating the franchise, and even getting to know some of the most dedicated fans on the planet.

Sadly, this legacy is coming to an end with issue #237. Which will be available on May 6th, 2026. The last issue will feature an exclusive (and final) interview with Kathleen Kennedy, a preview of The Mandalorian and Grogu, interviews with John Gilroy, Neal Scanlan, and many other things.

The three variant covers of issue #237 feature Ralph McQuarrie’s artwork, Han Solo in Carbonite, and a homage to the Lucasfilm Fan Club Magazine #1 (pictured below). The Lucasfilm Fan Club Magazine eventually became Star Wars Insider, so this homage is more than deserved.

Interview with Sam Witwer in Star Wars Insider #236

The second-to-last issue of Star Wars Insider. Some of the things you can expect to find in this issue are: an interview with Sam Witwer about Maul: Shadow Lord, Gareth Edwards discussing the making of Rogue One, a short fiction by Phil Szostak, a closer look into the recent Dark Horse Comics mini-series Into The Nightlands, and more! Release date: February 24, 2026.

Star Wars: The Old Republic Update 7.8.1 has been announced

In a livestream, Broadsword revealed what they are going to release with the upcoming 7.8.1 update. Two new date nights, Galactic Season 10, the Spring Abundance Festival, and a new story that will bring back one of my favorite characters of the game, Darth Jadus.

7.8.1 prepares us for the next chapter of SWTOR, update 8.0. If you haven’t played in a while, this is probably a good moment to catch up with everything.

The Mandalorian and Grogu are coming to Tokyo Disneyland

The Mandalorian and Grogu movie is one of the biggest Star Wars releases of this year. Disney is ensuring that everyone knows about this, so they’re doing their best for the iconic pair to show up everywhere.

Starting April 23, fans in Tokyo Disneyland will be able to experience a special version of Star Tours: The Adventures Continue that features Din Djarin and Grogu.

You still have plenty of time to prepare for The Mandalorian and Grogu by watching and playing the key series and games we list in our guide. We’ve also have a few book recommendations if you want to further expand your horizons.

Galactic Tales of Terror available for preorder

Galactic Tales of Terror is a compilation of three anthologies about spooky Star Wars stories. All put together into a hardcover edition. These stories take us to different corners of the galaxy: Tatooine, Kef Bir, and Ryloth.

The 336-page compilation is written by Cavan Scott (Tales from Vader’s Castle, The High Republic, The Jaws of Jakku). It collects Tales from the Rancor Pit, Star Wars: Tales from the Death Star, and Star Wars: Tales from the Nightlands #1–#3. The collection is coming out on September 22, 2026.
