Crimson Desert: Precipice of Echoes Ruins Tiles Puzzle Walkthrough

Adrian by Adrian|

The Ancient Ruins at Precipice of Echoes are home to one of many challenging puzzles in Crimson Desert. This guide will tell you its exact location and how to solve the puzzle to claim an Abyss Artifact.

Where to Find the Ruins

These Ancient Ruins are located southwest of the Hernand Highlands and far south of The Witchwoods, in front of Fort Perwin.

There are a few bandits patrolling nearby, but always in small quantities, so you shouldn’t be too worried about getting jumped by a dozen enemies. These ruins are in the open, and solving the puzzle requires you to be precise with your feet. I highly suggest that you avoid doing this at night.

How to solve the Puzzle

This Puzzle can be very frustrating because it requires you to connect the plates with lighting symbols to each other while following a specific path. On top of this, it also requires you to be extremely careful with your feet. Walking an extra step might take you out of the zone, which will reset the entire thing.

Also, make sure to stand on one plate only, especially when you finish each stage. If you happen to be on top of two plates at the beginning of a stage, both plates will count. This completely ruins the pathing.

When solving this, I made this mistake a few times, so even if the pathing was right, I was destined to fail. If you do this, just reset it and start again. It will save some time.

The following images show the pathing you have to follow in each of the three stages of this puzzle. All images are taken from the starting position of each stage. The arrows and numbers indicate the direction and order of your next movement.

Reward

The reward for completing this puzzle is an Abyss Cresset. Like with the others, this location will also be available for Fast Travel after claiming the Abyss Artifact.

This location is also included in our list of all Abyss Artifacts in Hernand. In that catalog, you will find many more locations that are off the beaten path, offering free skill points.
