Maul – Shadow Lord’s first two episodes are out, LEGO reveals livestream for Star Wars day reveal, and everything that happened in the week of March 28 – April 10.

Maul makes a triumphant return with Maul – Shadow Lord

After almost a year of waiting since the reveal at Star Wars Celebration 2025, Maul – Shadow Lord is finally here. This series exists thanks to George Lucas’ idea of giving Maul more protagonism.

There was a point where Maul was considered to be the main villain of the prequel trilogy, with a considerable part of the plot revolving around him creating a criminal empire.

Obviously, that didn’t get to happen, but at least now we get to experience some of that in Maul – Shadow Lord. The first two episodes are out, with two more coming out each Monday until April 6.

I have an in-depth review of the first two episodes, but if I had to describe it in a few words, I’d say it’s something made for all the fans who grew up watching The Clone Wars.

Jedi Temple Guard’s merch coming to the Disney Store

As one of the many ways to celebrate May the 4th, the Jedi Temple Guard Mask and Legacy Lightsaber will be available on the Disney Store on May 4, in both the US and Europe.

The Mask is priced at $99, while the lightsaber is $190. Both items will be sold in very limited quantities, so I suggest you set your alarm. So far, we don’t know if they will also be available inside Disney Parks.

Hasbro reveals new figures

Like every year, Hasbro joins the May 4th celebration with some unique figures that are exclusively available at select retailers on this day of the year. This special wave of Black Series figures includes a B1 Battle Droid, Scout Trooper, and Stormtrooper.

All three are wearing some funny Star Wars-themed clothes and are priced at $28. The B1 will be available at Target, the Scout Trooper at Fan Channel retailers, and the Stormtrooper at Walmart.

But what excites me the most is the new figures from Knights of the Old Republic II, Darth Nihilus and Darth Traya. The 2-pack is available for pre-order on Amazon. It has a price tag of $60 and releases July 1, 2026.

LEGO announces preview for Star Wars Day

LEGO will be hosting a livestream on April 15 at 9 am PT to reveal a new Star Wars set. This isn’t something that happens too often, so expectations are already pretty high considering the date and that we don’t know which UCS sets are releasing this year.

Additionally, people who join will have the opportunity to win a set or bundle. You can join the live here.

The Mandalorian characters arrive at Lego Star Wars: Castaways

From April 1st until April 30th, players of LEGO Star Wars: Castaways will be able to earn cosmetics from The Mandalorian during “The Way” event. These cosmetics include Din Djarin, Grogu, Moff Gideon, The Armorer, Peli Motto, Dark Trooper, The Razor Crest, and the N-1 Starfighter.

Shadow of Maul #2

This issue shows more about the underworld of Janix. How the crime lords operate, the way syndicates work with/against each other, and how law enforcement has to deal (or not) with them. It also gives some answers as to why Vario and Deemis have beef in the show. You can read my review for more details. Release date: April 8, 2026.
