Update on the SWTOR server connection issue

Vulkk by Vulkk|

Tait Watson and Eric Musco posted today on the official SWTOR Forums several updates about the issues with the server instability and the regular disconnects many players have been experiencing since yesterday on all of the live servers. He didn’t explain what was it exactly, but rather just labled it as “EA connection issue”

The team continues to work and at the moment the European data center has been fixed and things should be stable. They continue investigating and trying to resolve the remaining issues in the NA region

I can confirm that there was an EA Service issue last night which impacted SWTOR. At this time all of these issues have been resolved and you should be able to properly connect to all servers.
I do apologize that this was not communicated sooner. Again, all issues should now be resolved.

The team has made the change and traffic to the European data center is now stable. We’re going to continue to work on other efforts to improve the situation, and if any of those efforts have the potential to impact your connections, we will let you know!

From our investigation the issue appears to be primarily affecting East Coast, US servers. Although everything is not completely stable yet, we are beginning to see recovery on those servers.
