Release Date
Bioware made the big announcement finally! The next expansion to Star Wars The Old Republic, called Knights of the Eternal Throne, will be available on 2nd December. For players who are active subscribers between 25th October and 27th November, there will be a 3 days early access to KOTET, starting on 29th November.
New Story
The expansion will contain 9 chapters, all released together and completely FREE for active subscribers, or as Bioware calls us now – Premium Players
New Features
Two new features have been announced :
- Uprisings (small scaled skirmish-like events for 1 to 4 players in a group)
- Galactic Command, which is a newsystem, directly related to the Uprisings
- A new Dark vs Light system will also find its place in KOTET, player decisions will matter and determine the path of the server they play on.
Rewards
A new Subscriber Rewards Program has been announced with 3 special dates:
- Be a Subscriber on 25th October, get Shae Vizla as a companion
- Be a Subscriber on 27th November, get a nice new mount
- Be a Subscriber from 25th October until 27th November, get 3 days early access to KOTET.
