More grind = better chances :)))
Quick update on a piece of information we’ve just learned now. I’m just coming out of the Discord group where in the last 2 hours me and a bunch of other SWTOR Players enjoyed Star Wars Episode VII together with the SWTOR community manager Eric Musco. This was a special event, organized by Unholy Alliance as part of the guild’s Extra Life 2016 participation program.
At the end, Musco agreed to answer one SWTOR question from each one of the participants. There were several interesting ones, but the one and most important pierce of information that I think is 100% worth mentioning was about the chances of gear with set bonuses dropping from Command Crates in Patch 5.0. And I’m quoting him from memory:
The chance of a piece of gear with attached set bonus dropping from Command Crates scales up with your rank. The higher the rank of your character is, the better chance you have to pull an armor part with a set bonus out of the crate.
Musco couldn’t give us exact numbers in terms of percentage, but the fact that a modifier is in place to ensure a little better chance at higher ranks, is good news.
BTW, Musco was kind enough not only to join and enjoy the movie, but he also gave away some nice prizes and made a donation to Extra Life as well. Big thanks from all of us to him.
