Season 7 will continue for some time, but the big reward from Warzones and specifically from Ranked PvP seems to have attracted a larger number of players who don’t particularly care for fair game, but rather just want the CXP. The studio is going to take serious actions against win-trading and cheating.

We discovered that a few of the folks who are in the top 96 were win-trading or even hacking. Because of that we are taking the time to thoroughly vet the entire top 96 and we will be removing anyone from that group who has been found to be cheating (along with ToS action). We intend to have the titles granted and the leaderboard updated by 5.1, but we are hopeful to have them completed much sooner.
Now, to me this sounds like “we have our holidays coming, so don’t expect actions before that”, but since it’s a news post, I will have to still my tongue and hand from writing personal thoughts. Right? Why do I have the feeling that news like this are typical for December, right before the holiday :D
