SHADOW OF WAR grants enough Skill Points to unlock ALL SKILLS

Tons of variations to create your favorite builds!

A lot about Middle-earth: Shadow of War has already been shown, told and explained. As you probably already know, the level cap for Talion in his second adventure is 60. Even before the launch of the game, we got a confirmation from the developers that there are enough skill points available for us to earn so that we can purchase every skill in the game.

The Skill Tree includes 6 categories: Combat, Predator, Ranged, Wraith, Mounted and Story. Each skill has 3 possible upgrades, only one of which can be active at a time and some of them will be granted after Talion completes a certain mission or an objective. Check out my Full Skill Tree overview in written and video form.

In Shadow of Mordor it was quick and easy to unlock absolutely all skills and their upgrades, which made Talion extremely overpowered and nearly unbeatable.

The introduction of different difficulty modes to Shadow of War will successfully combat that issue, but what’s more interesting is the fact that we will still not be able to fully upgrade all skills with all of their possible upgrades, thanks to the limitation mentioned above – one upgrade per skill.

You should know, some of these upgrades offer very big performance changes to how the skill/attack is used and will result in a huge variety of builds.

In Middle-earth: Shadow of War Talion can earn skill points from multiple sources – leveling up, completing special achievements, sending Followers to fight in the Pits and more.

It is highly likely that by the time you reach level 60, you will have over 2/3rds of the abilities and upgrades unlocked.

You won’t need or even want all of them anyway. Some upgrades alter the effect of Talion’s attacks (Fire, Poison, Curse, Frost and so on), but others are changing the abilities themselves, which in some cases are up to you to decide which is more to your liking and gameplay style.

If you hunt down all of the achievements, and there are many, many available, you will, one way or another, get all your skills and upgrades unlocked in that process.
