Everybody’s favorite trooper-turned-rebel-hero John Boyega (Finn from Disney’s new Star Wars Trilogy) gave an interview prior to his participation in the upcoming Awesome Con event.
John Boyega is a big fan of video games, this became clear the moment he stepped onto the big stage and became a star with the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. During the interview he admitted being a huge fan of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed games and the first Star Wars: Battlefront from EA. We all remember his epic voice-over for the 4 minutes long trailer of EA’s newest game from the franchise – Star Wars: Battlefront 2. We all got so excited… until… you know.. the microtransactions came into place. That last part was not mentioned in the interview, of course :P
John is proud of the fact that his natural Star Wars nerdiness allows him to have more than enough knowledge of the Expanded Universe (now called “Legends”) and is always happy to discuss various events from the Star Wars universe with other fans. he is also proud of his collection of action figures.
John also mentioned that he has already received some notes on how to start his preparations for the third movie of the new trilogy – Episode IX.
