Ubisoft announces a new In-Game tool, available to the Assassin’s Creed: Origins PC players – the Animus Control Panel. It allows you to personally tweak many gameplay settings, including character skins.
In April Ubisoft is introducing a brand new tool, capable of completely changing the gameplay experience with Assassin’s Creed: Origins. The Animus Control Panel is currently still in development and will be available at a later date, but so far we know about some of its main features.
First and most important, the Animus Control Panel will be available to PC players only. There is no mention of a console version being worked on at all. It will include the following options:
- 75 Parameters changing various elements of the gameplay and mechanics within 11 categories
- Three pre-defined presets available to pick from
- Custom presets, that you create, can be shared on a dedicated forum
- The Animus Control Panel is embedded into the Uplay Overlay and the Uplay PC client
It will be a free add-on to the game. More information is coming when the time nears its release.
Based on that screenshot, you will be able to adapt the behavior of the game to your liking. For example, you will be able to change your player skin and the number of maximum allowed tamed animals. Other tweaks include attack speed of your opponents and followers, amount of melee and ranged damage non-player characters will be able to deal (both friendly and enemies), level scaling and more.
Aside from the exciting new tool, Ubisoft also announced the schedule for the regular weekly Trials of the Gods:
