Ubisoft offers six different Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Editions. Each one contains the base game and various different bonuses. This guide will help you decide which one is perfect for you and if it’s worth to get the Season Pass DLC!
Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey takes place in ancient Greece, where you get a chance to pick one of two main characters and enjoy a massive RPG. The game offers stunning visuals, dramatic narrative and an opportunity for you to make important choices and shape your story in whatever way you want to.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey releases on October 5th 2018 in six different editions. Below you will find out what are the differences between each one of them, which one suits your needs and pockets best and help you make your choice.

Pre-ordering early grants you access to the “Blind King” Mission. If you pre-order, you also get early access to another special mission, based on the package you purchase.
STANDARD EDITION
The most basic edition contains just the basic game and no access to the follow-up DLC or any In-Game special items and boosts.

DIGITAL DELUXE EDITION
One step up from the Standard edition is the Deluxe package. If you opt to get this one, you will receive the base game as well as 2 gear sets (Kronos Gear Pack and Herald of Dusk Gear Pack), 1 naval pack (Capricornus Naval Pack) and 2 boosts (XP and Drachma). You also get early access to “The Blind King” Missoin.
- The Core Game – This is the Full Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey game with its full story.
- The Blind King Mission (pre-order for early access) – A special mission that will be accessible to you earlier.
- 2 Boosts – XP and Drachma – Using the XP Boost will increase your character’s progression, while the Drachma boost is an In-Game gift of a certain amount of the currency you will be using to purchase items and other things from vendors.
- Kronos and Herald of Dusk Gear Packs – Special In-Game gear packs for your character.
- Capricornus Naval Pack – Special pack of In-Game items.
GOLD EDITION
The Gold Edition offers you the full experience of all things this game has. Here the included perks on top of the core game are 3-day early access (if you pre-ordered) and the full contents of the Season Pass. This package gives you also access to the “Secrets of Greece” bonus mission. The Gold Edition doesn’t give you the In-Game items from the Deluxe Pack.

One step up and we arrive at he Ultimate package AC Odyssey Edition. It includes everything from the Gold edition plus the additional In-Game “gifts” from the Deluxe Edition – the core game, all of the DLC from the Season Pass, 3-day early access, 2 gear sets (Kronos Gear Pack and Herald of Dusk Gear Pack), 1 naval pack (Capricornus Naval Pack) and 2 boosts (XP and Drachma). This package gives you also access to the “Secrets of Greece” bonus mission.

This package is for physical orders only. With it you will receive everything from the Gold Edition plus a bunch of other goodies for a true Assassin’s Creed fan – official soundtrack, In-Game map, a steel figure of the main character and more.
The Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Spartan Edition is available exclusively on the Ubisoft Store and will include the following physical and digital content:
- Early access starting on October 2.

PANTHEON COLLECTION EDITION
The most expensive edition includes a large amount of items both digital and physical. Of course, the Gold Edition is fully integrated into it.

SEASON PASS CONTENTS
The Season Pass will offer two additional stories, split into three episodes each. Legacy of the First Blade will launch in December 2018 and The Fate of Atlantis is scheduled for Spring of 2019.
In between each episode there will be free content updates for all owners of the game. The Lost Tales of Greece quests will give you a chance to explore the lore of Assassin’s Creed and Ancient Greece even deeper while waiting for the big Episodes.
Additionally there will be daily and weekly In-Game events, mythical beasts and godly creatures to defeat and earn rewards and a special new currency. You can then trade that currency for Epic and Exotic Gear at a special merchant. His stock will be updated weekly, so you can always expect to find new items to farm currency for.
Every owner of the Season Pass will get the Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered edition for free.
