After having to temporarily disable one of the most iconic Star Wars villains – Emperor Palpatine, due to some unpleasant bugs that were discovered, the new update to the game brings him back to your roster.
A number of balancing updates have also been done, including the lightsaber heroes’ stamina, a fix for the Hero Starfighter related to PC that caused stuttering before being locked on, another one in Extraction mode where the objective markers would not be correctly placed on the Kessel and Jabba’s Palace maps and more.
The biggest reason for celebration, though, is the return of the Ewoks! The fan-favorite Ewok Hunt game mode is now available once again! This event was first released with the Night on Endor Update. Here you start as either the Ewok or as a part of a group of Stormtroopers. The ambush begins as the Ewok attacks the unsuspecting stormtroopers, using spears and whatever other abilities they can muster to take down the intruders. Each stormtrooper defeated spawns as another Ewok. If the Empire’s forces have been completely eliminated, the Ewoks win and their celebration can begin. However, the stormtroopers’ superior training and firepower are more than a match for the frantic Ewoks. Armed with an arsenal of weapons as well as flashlights to cut through the darkness, players must hold back the Ewok ambush if they have a hope of surviving until an extraction team can arrive.
