Ubisoft plans an extensive and long-lasting post-launch support for the game. As you have heard and seen in the featured video at the top of this post, the Season Pass will provide players with additional story content in the form of episodic missions.
Regular free content and fresh stock in the form of items and loot will be made available on daily and weekly bases. In between the DLC episodes from the Season Pass, separate bonus missions will be released.
Most of the items you will be able to buy from the Ubisoft’s store, will also be available for earning through gameplay.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is set in Ancient Greece. In the style of the series, the game mixes legends with fiction. The biggest difference this time is the fact that not only you get to travel the furthest back in history an AC game has ever taken you, but every single decision you make will have an impact on the missions you complete and the characters you interact with. The developers are calling it a real full fleshed out RPG.
Two different types of exploration will be available for you to choose from. Standard mode is the typical Origins-style hand-held method, where your objectives are marked on the map and things are easy to find. Exploration mode is where the fun begins. Choosing this you will receive far less notifications and will have to discover most of the wonders of Ancient Greece, bonus missions and places of interest on your own – in the style of the classic RPGs.
If you haven;t made up your mind yet, stay tuned as the game releases and check out the coverage here on VULKK.com. You will be able to purchase one of the many packages after the official launch. Minus the early access exclusives, of course.
