Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Infamous Achievement Guide

This is a guide showing you the quickest and easiest way to complete the Infamous Achievement in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

The Bounty system in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is a lot more complex than what you may remember from Origins (if you played it). I have an in-depth guide to help you understand how every element of it works, but the topic of this video is the quickest way to get the Infamous Achievement.

The two quickest ways are to kill a lot of civilians or to kill a region leader. The first is very easy to do, but a bit slower, while the second method is a lot faster, but you need a witness of the killing to get your bounty automatically to maximum tier.

What I would suggest you is to go to the center of a city and start smashing left and right to get a bounty for a “murderer”.

When mercenaries start tracking you and come close by, move to a different part of the city or anywhere else. There is no point in fighting the mercenaries… well, except for the fantastic loot they often drop.

Here the focus is on obtaining the achievement as fast as possible, so avoid areas with soldiers and run away from the bounty hunters.

Make sure you have a manual save before you start doing this. Once you gain a bounty, it will be either very time-consuming or very expensive to lose it.

Once you have reached the maximum bounty level, check the Achievements list. When you see the Infamous achievement there listed as completed, you are free to reload your previous save of the game. The achievements are account based, you will not lose it.

The second option – to kill a region leader – is less reliable and may not grant you a level 5 bounty. If you are lucky enough to have a witness, though, it should happen.

If you play as the game’s tutorial suggest you in the very beginning and clear off things before you take on the leader, you will most likely not get the bounty.

Having a level 5 bounty on your head will also grant you the “I’m a Survivor” classic Club challenge. That’s 20 Units for free for you to spend in Ubisoft’s store.
