This guide shows you how exactly how to solve the A Family’s Legacy Mirrors Puzzle main mission in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey by correctly aligning all mirrors
After Myrinne told Alexios/Kassandra that his real father was hidden somewhere on the Island of Thera, you have to go there and discover what the truth is. The Island is located in the south-eastern corner of the map, among the Volcanic Islands, on Thera and somewhere in the Minoan Ruins.
It is there, on the island of Thera where you land and find the Mirrors all over the place. Be careful, a few wild animals and snakes can startle you while you are focusing on the Mirrors. The mirrors are all over the island.
The whole idea is to bring the light from the first mirror, which is located on top of the three-stories building all the way down to the triangle glass mirror on top of the door. To do that, you have to clear a path for the light and move a few objects around.
This guide will help you by providing the quickest way to solve the Mirrors puzzle in the A Family’s Legacy mission. Just watch the video above or read the instructions below – whichever you find easier.
When you go to the chest and find the Ancient Tablet, look ahead – below infront of you are the doors you are trying to open. Up to the right is the light source. Go to it and check where the light reflects to next. Turn around and follow it.
After the light beam bounces through two mirrors, it arrives at a dead end. In front of the third mirror, there is a wooden obstacle. You can simply destroy it with one smash.
Next, turn to the right and follow the beam once again until you see where it stops. After several more reflections, a semi-destroyed wooden door stands blocking the path. Kick it out to allow the beam of light to pass through.
Take the rope for a quick way down and you will arrive at the next place, where your actions are required for the light to be able to proceed. Just in front of the next mirror, there is a large wooden structure blocking the path of the light. Move it to the right.
While in the same area, turn to your right and move the nearby mirror to the front. When you do so, Alexios/Kassandra will say “This looks to be in the right position”. This will allow the beam of light to bounce off to the next location.
The final location is the first building that you see to your left as you arrive on the island from the bridge.
Here you will have to do some more moving around to arrange the mirrors to bounce off the beam from the top floor downstairs and off to the triangle above the cave’s door.
Start off by moving all of the wooden structures to the right, including the right mirror that you see in the image above. It is not used for the puzzle.
Your goal is to allow the light to get to the top left mirror that hangs on the wall. This part is arguably the most labor-intensive for your character and although simple once you do it, it’s hard to explain.
If you have some trouble arranging the wooden structures in a way that they don’t block the light, check the video at the top of the post to see how I did it.
Down on the ground floor, kill a couple of snakes and notice how the beam reflects off the two mirrors and hits the wooden doors. Simply knock the doors down and the light will finally be able to reach its destination!
