This guide will help you solve the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Ancient Revelations Mirrors Puzzle that Layla encounters in the modern-day gameplay segment
The Mirrors Puzzle, part of Ancient Revelations Odyssey Quest, that Layla encounters in the present time of our world, is similar to the Mirrors Puzzle from A Family’s Legacy. Here you also have to arrange a few mirrors to reflect the beam of light from its source to the target area in order to complete the objective of the quest.
Now, let’s start from the top.
Right after Alexios/Kassandra speaks to Pythagoras and seal Atlantis, you transition back to the modern days. Layla is sitting in the exact same spot at the gates of Atlantis. Her attempt to “open Sesame”, however, ends in a failure, because one of the light beams is not properly reflected and the mechanism would not open.
After the cinematic, you (as Layla) have to climb up towards the white marker and find out that the source of light is not being reflected properly form way upstairs through several mirrors all the way down to the pyramid.
Once you climb up, you will discover the source of the light. Notice how the beam doesn’t reflect properly. There are three pillars attached to moving mechanisms in this “room”. Each pillar has a mirror on top of it. The closest to the source is on the right, while the second and the third pillars are on the left side as you enter the room.
Here is where the mini puzzle begins! You have to move each one of the mirrors and place it in the perfect position, so that it does reflect the beam of light properly. Each one of the pillars can be moved only backwards or forward in a straight line.
Remember, you’ve got a very small margin of error. Always keep your camera facing up and watch for when the light gets reflected, then stop moving the object and move to the next.
Let’s get on with the puzzle itself!
The mirror that is closest to the source is on the right side as you enter the area. You have to move it to the left side until you see the beam of light reflected by it.
The second mirror is on the left side. You have to move it to the middle of the room. Again, watch for when the beam of light gets reflected and stop moving.
Move the third mirror all the way to the left side of the room, it isn’t actually being used. The mirror on the wall behind it is the one that should reflect the beam of light. You simply want to clear enough space for the light to get to it.
After the short cinematic is over, you can jump back down and… prepare for a great surprise!
