Complete Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Ancient Stele Locations Guide for all twenty-two tombs and ruins available in the game (with text and video walkthroughs)

There are twenty-two bonus Ability Points that you can earn in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. They come from finding Ancient Stele Tablets, hidden deep in old Tombs and ruins scattered all around the map of Ancient Greece.

This guide will show you how to find all of them and get your free Ability Points easily. The locations are mapped and described verbally. A video walkthrough accompanies each and every one of them as well.

Please, note, the order is loosely based on region and level, but not entirely.

Tomb of Alkathous

Go to Megaris. In the Valley of the King Lelex area, in its very western border, you will find the entrance to the tomb of Alkathous.

Once inside, take a right turn and enter a dark room. Break the wooden barrier on the wall and follow the corridor leading you deep underground. At its very end you will see the Stele right in front of you.

Tomb of the First Pythia

Go to Phokis. In the Grand Mount Parnassos area, to the west of the sync point is the entrance to this tomb. It’s right in the middle of Phokis, actually. The entrance is next to a giant statue.

Inside, when you reach a small crossroads with a fire in the middle, look to your right. Break the jars in the corner to reveal a small hole in the lower end of the wall. Slide through it. Follow the corridor down and in the square room with the snakes and spiked floor, take a left turn. After a while you will see a hole on the wall that reveals the room with the Stele behind it.

Mycenaean Tomb of Ajax

In Attika’s adjacent island to the west, not far from the Salamis docks, you will find an entrance to a tomb. Beware, enemies guard its entrance.

Once inside, break the wooden barrier on the wall and follow the tunnel down and always move forward until you reach the square room with four holes in the wall. The one you want to take is on the opposite wall from where you came in. A long corridor with many staircases will lead you up until you reach the room with the big hole in the floor. The Stele is right downstairs. Simple jump down and you are done. Then don’t forget to explore the tomb for its treasures.

Tomb of Eteokles

In Attika, go to the most western point of interest, located a little to the north-east from Megaris’s most eastern sync point.

Go through the small dark room and break the wooden barrier on the wall. Follow the tunnel down. When you get to the room with the metal statue, take a right. Follow the tunnels until you reach a small room with wooden walls. In the right corner, you will find a wooden shelf that can be moved backwards. Behind it, slide through the opening on the wall. The Stele is in the room at the end of the corridor. Scared of snakes much? Be careful.

Pheidon’s Tomb

Go to Argos – the western region of Argolis. South-west from the sync point and the center of the city, you will find the entrance to Pheidon’s Tomb.

This one is easy. Simple break the wooden barrier and follow the dark tunnel. Be careful for snakes and spikes. At the end of the tunnel, break another wooden barricade and go through the hole in the wall. The Stele is just right there in this small room.

Agamemnon’s Tomb

Go to Argolis. In the Palace of Agamemnon area (north-east part of Argolis), just south-west from the Palace itself, you will find the entrance to this tomb. It’s in a ditch in the forrest, easy to miss.

Break the wooden barrier in the first room, as always. Follow the corridor down. At the first intersection, take a left turn and go down the stairs. In the room at the end, you will find a wooden shelf. Move it to the other end of the room, then jump on it and over the wooden fence. Beware of the many spiked blocks on the floor. The Stele is in the room at the very end of this corridor.

Tomb of the Forgotten Hero

Go to Lakonia. On the eastern side of Helot Hils is the entrance to the Tomb of the Forgotten Hero.

After you break the wooden obstacle and enter the room behind it, look to your right. The hole in the wall is your way forward. Then make another right at the T-crossroad and once again slide through the hole in the wall to reach your destination. There are a few spiked blocks and snakes, but nothing really scary or tough bout this tomb. There is another path to the left from the T- crossroads leading you to a room with a treasure chest.

Tomb or Orion

Go to Boeotia. The tomb’s entrance is in the northern end of Oropos Heights.

Once you get in, break the wooden patch and enter. Take the left corridor and follow it down. On the T-crossroads, take the left side again. The room ahead is the one with the Stele. There are a few treasure chests in this tomb. Don’t leave immediately.

Tomb of the Daughter of Atlas

In Arkadia, the Mount Psophis region, near the western border of the area, lies the entrance to the Tomb of the Daughter of Atlas.

It’s a quick and easy task this one. Break the wooden barrier, then follow the corridor until you end up in the room with the Stele. There are a few hidden treasure chests in this tomb too, so don’t rush to get out too soon.

Waterfall of Styx

Go to Arkadia. In the sub-region of Golden Fields, near its western border up in the mountain, you will find the entrance to the Waterfall of Styx tomb.

Get in, break the wooden barrier as you always do, then simply follow the corridor. At the first crossroad, take the right passage and again follow the tunnel. The Stele is at its very end.

Tomb of Polybotes

The entrance to this tomb is hidden on the island of Kos – to the eastern border of the map. On the eastern side of Pharmakeia Bay area, you will find a breakable wall that leads in.

This one is easy. Simple move straight forward. Break a wooden obstacle on your way, then a few jars to discover the lower hole in the wall ahead and follow the corridor until you reach the room with the giant hole in the floor. Jump to the lower floor and you will see the stele right in front of you.

Giant Heroes Burial Ground

Go to Naxos island far to the east on the map. Overlooking the eastern shores of the island, in Marble Bay area, you will find the entrance to the underground burial grounds. This one involves a little bit of swimming.

Once you jump underwater, the image clears up, because (as usual) it is quite dark in the room above. Dive down in the giant hole in the floor, follow the corridors until you find the exit point – a giant hole in the floor again.

Alkaios Tomb

Go to Paros Island in the eastern end of the map, but west of Naxos. The entrance is located on the eastern end of Atoll Point – Paros’s adjacent smaller island.

Once you reach the room with the statue, look to your right. A few jars block the passage. break them and slide in. Follow the corridors until you reach the room with the many hidden spikes. Continue forward by sliding through the hole in the wall ahead. At the end of the corridor move the shelf to the side and enter the small room behind it. That’s your destination. Beware of the spiked floor blocks once again.

Artemision Tomb

Go to the Euboea island, located north of Attika. The entrance is in the most northern end of the area called Artemision Point, which is on the north-western end of the island – carved in the rocky shores.

Break the wooden barrier, then follow the corridor until you reach the room with the giant hole in the ground. Drop down and keep straight forward until you get to the flooded room. Dive in and at the next T-crossroads take the right. This will lead you to a small room with a wooden shelf. Move it to the left to discover the entrance behind it. Follow the corridor until you reach the Throne room. Behind it is a small room, where you will find the Stele.

Parmenon Tomb

Go to the small island of Thasos, located east from Macedonia. In the middle region – City of the Champion, on the eastern border of the sub-region, you will find the entrance to the tomb edged in a cliff.

This one is quick and simple. Break down the wooden barrier and follow the corridors down. At the end, break a few jars infront of you to reveal a small hole in the wall. Slide through it and you will find the Stele.

Abandoned Tomb

On the island of Lemnos, way in the southern sub-region of Sky Fall Lakes, there is an entrance, just next to a lair of lions. This is the Abandoned Tomb.

After you do the standard breaking of wooden barrier thing and enter the real tomb, follow the corridor and at the first crossroad keep true and go down the stairs. On your right side after a couple of turns you will see a wooden shelf. Pull it towards you. This will free up an entrance from the other side of the wall. Go backwards to the crossroads and this time take the other corridor. When you reach the room with the hole in the floor, drop down. Go through the door, find the low hole on the wall and slide through it. The Stele is at the end of the corridor.

Stony Sepulchre

Right on the eastern end of the map, find the island of Chios. In the middle region – Affluence Bay, you will find the entrance to the Stony Sepulchre right on the western shores of the island.

Enter, break the wooden barrier on the wall and follow the corridor. At the end of it, move the two wooden shelves to the back and pass through. The Stele is in the room at the end of the next short corridor. Careful with the many snakes and spikes here.

Tomb of Brizo

The Tomb of Brizo is located on Delos island. In its northern section – Sacred Lands of Artemis. Just north from the Kynthos Ruins camp.

After you break the wooden barrier and enter, follow the tunnels leading down until you reach a room. In it, look to the left and slide through the lower hole on the wall. Follow the corridor and on the next crossroads take a left. You will reach a room with a hole in the floor. Jump down, go through the door next to the wooden shelf. The wall in front of you in the next small room can be broken with a weapon. Behind it is the Stele itself.

Destroyed House of Oinomaos

Go to Elis. In the Valley of Olympia, south-west of Fort Koroibos is the entrance to the Destroyed House of Oinomaos.

The entrance is behind the house, carved in the rocks. Just break the wooden barrier and go down the stairs. At the end of a short corridor you will see the Stele. This is probably one of the quickest and easiest locations to complete.

Tomb of the First Champion

This tomb is located on Elis, in the north-east end of the Forgotten Swamps sub-region. The entrance is a hole in the ground, in the middle of a small bandit camp. You can sneak and jump in if you prefer to avoid the fight, but there are no special enemies in the camp.

Once inside, follow a long corridor leading you down underground until you reach a room with a wooden fence on your right and a wooden shelf item on your left. Move the shelf to the fence and jump on top of it. Go to the second floor above and turn around. Jump over the hole and go through the door. At the end of the corridor, when you reach the next room with the big spikes block in the middle, continue forward by sliding through the hole in the wall. On your right the wall can be broken. Be careful of the spiked floor, though. When you reach the room with the many snakes in the middle, take a left turn through the hole in the wall. After the first turn to the right, break the wall just after the pile of rubble and slide through the wall-hole in front of you. The Stele is waiting for you in the next room, just behind the throne.

Tomb of Eurypylos

The Tomb of Eurypylos is in Achaia region. It’s near the very top of Mount Panachaikos – the northern sub-region of Achaia.

When you get inside, follow the tunnel descending through a few sets of staircases until you enter a room with a hole in the middle, that’s filled with wood. Go through the door on the other side of that room and keep following the tunnel. Break the wooden barrier at the end of the staircase and turn to the left. Break the jars blocking the lower hole on the wall and slide through. In the wide room, move the wooden shelf to the left and get past it to get into yet another tunnel. Slide through the hole in the wall and at the end of the next room you will see your target!

Tomb of Orpheus

On Lesbos – far into the north-east on the map, you will find the Tomb of Orpheus. Its entrance is looking at the bey, in northern end of the Ancient Pearl sub-region.

When you get to the room with the white statue, climb it to reach the upper floor. Turn left and go through the door. Follow the tunnels until you reach and end with several wooden shelves blocking the entrance to the next room. Move the shelves around and enter. Jump down through the hole in the floor and you will be at your destination.
