Avengers Endgame and Captain Marvel trailers hit Superbowl

The Superbowl was played last night and Tom Brady and his Patriots won again. But the real winners here are us Marvel fans. We got spoiled with not one but two teaser trailers of 30 seconds each.

The Avengers and Captain Marvel both showed us a glimpse of what to expect in the movies. Captain Marvel will premier on March 6, 2019 and the Avengers: Endgame will premier on April 26, 2019.

The Avengers are down but not out

The first Avengers: Endgame trailer gave us a very grim impression of the world as it is after the infamous snap by Thanos at the end of Avengers: Infinity War.  Half the population is gone and the Avengers are looking to reassemble themselves after that. But with no hope and not even certain of survival, such as Tony Stark in floating in space, the world looks like to come to an end.

But in the Superbowl trailer they are looking up again and will take the fight to Thanos.

The trailer makes interesting pairings with Antman, War Machine and Rocket Raccoon joining Captain America and Black Widow.

And what of Nebula and Iron Man in a scene that is reminiscent of Iron Man part one where Tony is assembling his first armor together with brilliant scientist Yinsen.

Captain Marvel shows off her powers

Captain Marvel is said to be the strongest Avenger in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, according to head honcho Kevin Feige. And she puts almost all of her powers on display.

We see Carol Danvers suited up in space destroying spaceships left and right. Even her boss in the movie, played by Mar-Vell, is clearly impressed by her amazing power.

Other characters we see in short trailer is Maria Rambeau, rumored to be the mother of Monica Rambeau also known as Captain Marvel but a different one.  And ofcourse a very young Nick Fury, played by  none other than Samuel L. Jackson.

The only one I am still missing is Agent Phil Coulson who has an obsession with MC Hammer
