On June 18 BioWare released a small hotfix for Anthem (~2.3GB in size on PC). On the same day, after the maintenance, the vanity store got its usual Teusday refresh with a few new and returning items – one wrap, two animations, a decal and two materials.
ANTHEM Update 1.2.1 Patch Notes
On June 18 BioWare held a maintenance for all live servers of Anthem. Meanwhile the developers pushed a new small patch for the game.
Update 1.2.1 doesn’t bring new content, but deals with a few bugs and changes (yet again the matchmaking system). Its size is larger than it should, because it mainly adds files for future content.
And reminder, this patch is a sizable download, but mainly contains updates for content coming later to the game.

Below are the full patch notes, as listed on the game’s official website:
Cosmetic Fixes – Fixed a number of bugs that prevented select cosmetic items from being presented correctly in Prospero’s store and/or the Forge.
UI Fixes
● Fixed an issue where the mouse cursor would disappear on specific instances when going into the Forge (while using keyboard & mouse controls).
● Various other minor UI bug fixes.
Combat Fixes – Fixed a bug that would sometimes cause characters and enemies to appear frozen after the frozen effect had worn off.
Matchmaking – We’ve made some additional improvements to our matchmaking experience by enabling longer timers for players to match into a squad, while also fixing a bug from a previous update that forced some players to matchmake for longer than intended. The new max limit for matchmaking should take no longer than 90 seconds.
