There are several Challenges in the “Cataclysm Challenges” category in Anthem entitled simply with question marks. These are secret ones that get unlocked and completed once you finish a certain objective or task. In the guide below you will find a step-by-step walkthrough to unlocking the “Door Knocker” secret challenge, related to the Dominion Vault in the Dominion Foothold zone of the Cataclysm map!
The newly released Cataclysm event in Anthem along with Game Update 1.3.0 in the beginning of August brings a ton of new features.
The secret challenge in this one is easily solo-able, but before you go for it, I highly recommend you to complete at least three of the Cataclysm’s Arenas to earn that extra Stability, which will allow you to survive longer in the Storm. How to unlock and complete "Door Knocker" secret Challenge in Anthem's Cataclysm
This step-by-step walkthrough is a small part of RubyJavelin's massive guide to the Cataclsysm event in Anthem. The Dominion Vault is located to the far North-West on the map, in the Dominion Foothold zone. It can be unlocked by finding and three Arcanist Orbs.

Instructions
- Make sure you have enough stability to survive the trips back and forth to the Vault. If your Stabillity starts dropping, there are Notes spread around in the region that you can pick up to restore it.
- The door to the Dominion Vault is located in the north-east corner of the Dominion Foothold, just south from the entrance to the tunnel leading to the Dark Passage.
- As you face the door, to your left, on the ground, there will be three nodes, where you can place three Shaper Orbs (the items look more like a land-mine)
- The first Orb is located west of the vault, on the other side of the nearby cliff, in the pile of light colored stone.
- The second Orb is Northwest, on top of the cliff across the water.
- The third Orb is found Northwest as well, this time at the bottom of the Cliff near water.
- While carrying these orbs, you cannot fly and you can also only carry one at a time. Do not go swimming or you will lose them.
- Once you have all three orbs in place, the door to the Vault will automatically open and a lot of Notes will spawn from the ground. Pick them up. They grant you a ton of points for your Score as well as replenish your Stability meter.
- Once the Door is opened, you will see the "Challenge Completed" message on your screen. Congratulations, Freelancer!
Notes
This challenge is available in all difficulties. It can be completed by a single person. While in the area, there are a few other things you can do to earn extra points for your Score as well as grant yourself and your team some extra time inside the Cataclysm.
