There are several Challenges in the “Cataclysm Challenges” category in Anthem entitled simply with question marks. These are secret ones that get unlocked and completed once you finish a certain objective or task. In the guide below you will find a step-by-step walkthrough to unlocking the “Perfect Alignment” and “Grounded” secret challenges in The Approach zone of the Cataclysm map!
The secret challenges in this guide are easily solo-able, but before you go for it, I highly recommend you to complete at least one or two of the Cataclysm’s Arenas to earn that extra Stability, which will allow you to survive longer in the Storm. How to unlock and complete The Approach Secret Challenges in Anthem's Cataclysm
This step-by-step walkthrough is a small part of RubyJavelin's massive guide to the Cataclsysm event in Anthem. The DApproach is the area you spanw in as you enter the Cataclysm. The two secret achievements "Grounded" and "Perfect Alignment" are in close proximity to one another and can be easily completed together in one quick sweep.

Instructions
- Make sure you have enough stability to survive the trips back and forth to the Vault. If your Stabillity starts dropping, there are Notes spread around in the region that you can pick up to restore it.
- First, lets' do the "Perfect Alignment" secret challenge. The item you need to pick up and the relic are located to the north-east from the first event in The Approach (The Ring of Magnus), north from a large metal construct. The items are in its shadow and both lie on the ground.
- First pick up the Shaper orb (looks like a land-mine) from this location:
- The Circle you need to complete (by dropping the object in the empty spot on the ground) is located a little further north.
- Once you place the item (hold F on PC), you will unlock and complete the secret challenge "Perfect Alignment". Don't forget to pick up the notes that will spawn from the relic!
- Next, head north along the same beach for the "Grounded"
- The object you need to pick up is on the ground, in the rocky shores. It looks exactly like the item from the previous challenge.
- Then, bring it back south, again along the same beach to the marked note.
- This will unlock and complete the "Grounded" secret challenge for you. Congratulations, Freelancer! Don't forget to pick up the Notes that spawn from the Relic.
Notes
This challenge is available in all difficulties. It can be completed by a single person. While in the area, there are a few other things you can do to earn extra points for your Score as well as grant yourself and your team some extra time inside the Cataclysm.
