How to earn the Digital Goodies in Cyberpunk 2077
Every copy of Cyberpunk 2077, no matter which edition you pre-order or purchase will receive a bundle of online items for your character V to weak or admire in the game. This is a thank you from CD Projekt RED for signing up to MY REWARDS in Cyberpunk 2077 with your GOG account
You cannot get these items from a shop in the game. You earn them as a gift alongside other bonuses and perks. Check out the Cyberpunk 2077 Editions Guide for more info on what else you can get.
The items you receive in-game are the following and are really awesome in both design and stats:
- Galaxy T-shirt
- Wolf School T-shirt
- Wolf School Jacket
- Black Unicorn Katana
- Shupe the Troll Plushy
You can later upgrade these items through the Crafting System in Cyberpunk 2077 or craft new editions. Crafting in Cyberpunk is a whole new topic and I will discuss it in a separate guide.
Free Gear Digital Goodies looks and stats
Below I have a visual guide of what the items look like and how they affect your performance (stats and perks).
Galaxy T-Shirt
The Galaxy T-Shirt has a large purple logo of the GOG Galaxy client. There is nothing on the back – it’s plain black.
GOG Galaxy is the new tool that GOG.com designed to allow players to communicate with each other and have one global platform for all of their games. It’s the client that allows you to play your games purchased from GOG.com primarily, but you can add more titles from other clients such as Steam, Epic Games and so on.
Here are the stats and description of the Galaxy T-Shirt in Cyberpunk 2077:
- Item Type: Clothing
- Rarity: Rare (blue, 2nd tier)
- Slot: Inner Torso
- Armor: 16.6
- Weight: 1.7
- Cost: 36 EuroDollars
- Description: “Find your place among the stars”
Wolf School T-Shirt
The next digital item you receive as a gift for purchasing the game is a Wolf School T-Shirt. This one has design drawings on the front, on the back and on the left shoulder and all of them are inspired by The Witcher universe.
Here are the stats and perks of the Wolf School T-Shirt:
- Item Type: Clothing
- Rarity: Rare (blue, 2nd tier)
- Slot: Inner Torso
- Armor: 9.9
- Perk: 5 Damage Over Time Reduction
- Weight: 1.7
- Cost: 36 EuroDollars
- Description: “When you have to choose between neokitsch and neomilitaristic but can’t make up your mind”
Wolf School Jacket
The Wolf School Jacked is an Outer Torso clothing item and its design hides completely the shirt you might be wearing underneath. Wearing this will clearly show that you are a Witcher fan… to yourself.
It’s an amazing replica of Geralt’s armor or what it would look like if it was designed out of leather and with a much more modernistic approach. The Jacket has the Wolf School logo on the back and a Samurai logo above it on the neck-line.
Here are the stats, perk and description of the Wolf School Jacket:
- Item Type: Clothing
- Rarity: Rare (blue, 2nd tier)
- Slot: Outer Torso
- Armor: 9.9
- Perk: 5Increases Evasion by 0.2
- Weight: 3
- Cost: 172 EuroDollars
- Description: “Because the world in 2077 could still use a monster hunter”
Shupe the Troll Plush
The replica of the Troll that operates the in-game store in Gwent The Witcher Card Game – Shupe – arrives to your sofa in your apartment in Night City.
This version of Shupe is touched by the “Dark Future” and looks kind of evil, but also very cool. The item is a pure decoration and sits permanently in the corner of your sofa in your apartment.
Black Unicorn Katana Blade
One of the many melee weapons V will be able to use in combat is the Black Unicorn Katana blade. It is also a gift for purchasing the game.
The Black Unicorn has the following stats, perks and description:
- Item Type: Melee Weapon
- Rarity: Rare (blue, 2nd tier)
- Slot: Weapons
- DPS: 149.0
- Damage: 59
- Attack per Second: 2.50
- Detailed Stats:
- +44-54 Physical Damage
- +2.40% Crit Chance
- +10% Bleeding Chance
- Mod Slots: 1
- Weight: 4.5
- Cost: 52 EuroDollars
- Description: “The razor-like blade is as merciless as death itself, the guard is fashioned from premium materials and the handle is crafted so exquisitely it belongs in a museum. Most importantly it remains light and nimble to wield because it was forged DRM-free”
I love the little DRM joke in the description. By the way, read everything everywhere. CD Projekt Red are known for inserting references, jokes and easter eggs literally everywhere, so don’t miss these cool things by rushing!
When can you get your Cyberpunk 2077 Digital Goodies in-game
Without spoiling the story elements, I will only tell you that you cannot have the goodies as soon as you start the game.
After you go through the very basics tutorial, which you can skip if this isn’t your first playthrough or if you believe you can learn things on the move, you have a mission to complete.
After that your main quest will tell you to go to V’s apartment in Night City. As soon as you go to your appartment, you can check out and pick up all five of the above-mentioned Digital Goodies.
The items are designed for low level character and will give you an increase of stats compared to your starter gear, but they are mostly for show-off.
As for when exactly can you get these items, for me it happened after about two hours into the game. In reality this time could be shrunk down to 20-30 minutes or even shorter if you skip the combat and stealth tutorials.
I wasted some extra time exploring around, picking up all possible items and reading everything everywhere, because I have become a Cyberpunk lore junkie and I… just have to do this now.
How to equip the Digital Goodies
V’s apartment in Night City is in Little China district, located here in the map.
When you enter V’s appartment, on your right there is an open wardrobe. Get to it and collect the items available there. In the wardrobe you will find the two t-shirts, the jacket and the melee weapon.
The plushy troll from the Gwent card game is sitting on your sofa. It is a permanent decoration for your apartment. You can stare at it and admire the troll’s transformation to an evil creature of the Dark Future compared to the original that shows up in CD Projekt Red’s stand-alone version of The Witcher 3’s Gwent game.
To equip each one of these, go to your Stash, which is in the room behind the sofa, to the right from the entrance.
The Stash is a secure system that allows you to store items and access them from not only your apartment, but all of your other safehouses and vehicles. Its functionality is identical to the Stash Geralt had in The Witcher 3 and works in a similar way.
After you pick up your items, open the Inventory screen and equip them in the appropriate slots:
T-Shirts can be equipped in the Upper Body Inner Torso slot (second on the right from the top).
Jackets can be equipped in the Upper Body Outer Torso slot (first on the right from the top).
The Blade is a melee weapon and can be equipped in one of the three available weapon slots on the right side of your inventory screen.
Note that the Wolf School Jacket has a closed (zipped up) design and it will completely hide the t-shirt underneath.
What other Goodies do you get
There are a number of other goodies you will receive for purchasing Cyberpunk 2077. For the following items it doesn’t matter where you purchase the game and for which platform:
- Original Score
- Cyberpunk 2020 Sourcebook
- Wallpapers for desktop and mobile
These are available for GOG Galaxy, Steam, Epic Games, Playstation, Xbox and Stadia. They are all part of the My Rewards program, as described here.
To claim your Art Booklet and the Your Voice Digital Comic, log in to the following websites using your GOG account:
- Art Booklet: cyberpunk.net/artbook
- Digital Comic: cyberpunk.net/comic
If you are a Gwent player, you will receive some cool gifts in this game as well:
- “Brathtaking” Title
- Samurai Coin
- Samurai Cardback design
