This guide will show you how to get the Quadra Turbo-R car in Cyberpunk 2077. The iconic one that V drives in all of the pre-release trailers!

This guide is up-to-date for Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.3

To get the Quadra Turbo-R V-Tech car you will need to complete a couple of side jobs. They are quick and can be done at almost any level, although the first one may force you into fighting.

Why is the Quadra Turbo-R car so special

This vehicle is arguably the most iconic car in Cyberpunk 2077. Even more popular than Johnny Silverhand’s Porsche. Why? Because it was featured in nearly every gameplay demo and trailer from the pre-release marketing of the game that CD Projekd did!

Plus, the car looks, feels and drives fantastically. It’s powerful, stable and steady on the road and has the best view from both outside and inside while you are driving it.

Complete “Life’s Work” Gig

To get V’s iconic Quadra Turbo-R V-Tech car you first need to pick up and complete this gig. The mission stats automatically when you approach the area.

It’s a type of a “Search and Recover” job. You have to upload a virus and retrieve Jake Estevez’s custom car from a shop on McBride St.

To start the mission go to this location in The Glen in Heywood. The car is in the Wicked Tires Autoshop.

As soon as you approach the location, Sebastian “Padre” Ibarra will call you to give you the details of this gig.

You have two ways to approach this job. Defeat all enemies inside the shop or run in, upload the virus, take the car and run out.

Defeating all Enemies in the Autoshop

This is the more fun option. You can do it straightforward or by using some hacking tools at your disposal. The enemies are 6th Street gang members and are quite high level.

Your best approach if the mission is listed to you as “High Threat” is to find a good Sniper and take them from distance. The Overwatch is an easy to get Sniper Rifle and it would only take one headshot to take these gangers down.

Run in quick method

If you prefer the “rush in and rush out” method for whatever reason, use the corridor beneath the first car position as you enter the shop and run to the other end. Then take the stairs up, hack into the computer and upload the virus.

The car you need to steal and drive away with is right on the ground floor next to that office with the computer. Just get in and drive!

Drive the car to the marked location where Jake Estevez is waiting for you.

Jake will thank you and that is all. Leave the garage and the gig will be completed. Padre will call to thank you for the job well done. Your payment will arrive in a moment. For me it was 3100 Eddies. Not sure if it varies based on your character level.

Complete the “Sex on Wheels” side job

This is the second mission you need to complete to get the Quadra Turbo-R V-Tech Car. After you complete the Gig: Life’s Work for Padre, wait 24 hours (you can Skip Time).

After 23 hours have passed, you will receive a message from Jake, who wants to give you something special as a thank you for helping him. That special thing is… you guessed it!

Jake’s garage is in Rancho Coronado in Santo Domingo. When you arrive, your mission objective will update – get into the car!

Finally, to make this beauty of a vehicle yours forever, just drive it out of the garage and out of the marked orange area in your minimap. Congratulations! You now have V’s iconic Quadra Turbo-R!

The Roach Easter Egg from The Witcher 3

I left the best part for last. CD Projekt Red devs are known to include easter eggs and references in their games to other franchises, movies, video games, popular things in the real life, fairy tales and so on.

This one of Roach from The Witcher 3 is my favorite one in Cyberpunk 2077! On the rear right side of the Quadra Turbo-R, above the wheel and slightly behind it, you will see a small sticker with the name Roach and Geralt’s horse in an unusual pose.
