Manius’s Sanctum is the first of four Tombs of the Fallen in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. This guide shows you how to solve all puzzles inside!

The guide was updated to include the new content from Patch 1.6.1

How to find Manius’s Sanctum Tomb

Manius’s Sanctum is the name of the first dungeon you will explore as part of the newly available Tombs of the Fallen free content update, part of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla title update 1.4.0.

I have a helpful guide on how to find Manius’s Sanctum, which you can follow to get it all done quick and easy.

In short: You need to have landed in England and created your Settlement Ranveshorpe. Once you cover these requirements, a message will pop up letting you know that you can now explore the Tombs of the Fallen.

The first you visit is Manius’s Sanctum, located on the other bank of the river that borders Ravensthorpe. Its entrance is revealed in a short cinematic which also gives you a hint on how to find the other Tombs of the Fallen – use your bird.

Manius’s Sanctum is located right here on the map of England:

How to solve all puzzles inside

Once inside the tomb, you may want to continue following this guide to find out the right path and solution to all puzzles it offers.

As you enter the tomb, take the leap of faith down.

Manius's Sanctum - leap of faith

Follow the narrow corridor until you reach the stone wall that you need to blow up. It’s easiest to do that with an Incendiary Arrow ability, but if you don’t have it yet, there’s a flammable pot nearby.

Inside you will find a few Opals, which you can use at Reda’s Shop. Opals are scattered throughout all Tombs of the Fallen, by the way. I may miss to point out some of their locations in this or the other guides, but you can easily guess where they might be or spot them from a distance.

Continue down the corridor. At the end you will sneap past a narrow opening in the stone wall to get to this room:

There are two special marked slots in front of you – one square and one circular.

The square slots are populated with an obelisk-like item, which you find nearby in the dungeon and move around to the exact location on the ground to unlock part of the locking mechanism of the big door.

Circular slots are populated with smaller, but still quite heavy objects that you can carry. They are also available nearby.

Next to the square marker, facing West, break up the weak wooden fence and get to the Obelisk object.

Move that item back to the big room.

Position it right in the gold-plated square.

Next, face East and go past the circle marker on the ground to the other end of the room and climb up.

Interact with the lever to spawn a small object that you can carry to the circle marker in the big room behind you.

Place the item on the ground by Interacting with the circle marker.

This will trigger an animation of the big door opening up to allow you to the next chamber.

In this next room there are quite a few things of interest. I will try to summarize them all based on the image below, which was taken right as Eivor enters that chamber:

At the other side, directly in front of you there is a big map made of stone. It has four markers, which actually show the exact location of all Tombs of the Fallen in England.

To the right there is a wooden platform, which you can reach by climbing. There is some Opan on top of it.

On the bottom there is a strange puzzle that we will leave for later. You won’t be able to open it now anyway. Just keep in mind that this floor is a sealed entrance to something.

Take the rope and slide down. Interact with the giant map to trigger the cinematic and see the full map in front of you:

Yeah, this is the map of England that you are currently exploring and you are at the exact location marked by the bottom blue-ish marker right in the middle of the map. This is Manius’s Sanctum.

On the table behind you there is a key. This is Manius’s Workshop key. Pick it up.

The key unlocks the door on the east side – allowing you access to Manius’s Workshop.

Follow the path to the end where you will find a gold chest, containing an armor piece – the Fallen Hero Cape Cloak. Be careful of the floor right before the chest.

I’ve got a full guide about the Fallen Hero armor set including visuals, perks, upgradability.
