Ubisoft released Assassin's Creed Valhalla Update 1.4.2 patch notes and a roadmap for new store gear packs coming in February and March!
Today, on February 1st, 2022 Ubisoft releases a small patch for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. It’s a seemingly small hotfix that deals with some of the game’s present issues.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Update 1.4.2 arrives today at 12:00pm UTC for all supported platforms. The size of the patch varies from platform to platform and is between 2.5 to 11 GB in size.
- Xbox Series X|S: 6.6GB
- Xbox One: 5.1GB
- PlayStation 5: 2.5GB
- PlayStation 4: 3.03GB
- PC: 11.08GB
The single marked improvement is for the missing HD textures that appear missing sometimes: “Addressed an issue that caused some HD textures to be missing.” – source: Ubisoft.
This patch is more interesting with the roadmap Ubisoft revealed for upcoming new gear to the Ubisoft Store for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
In February and March they plan to add two double packs with armor and weapons and a single pack with weapons only. It seems that Ubisoft enjoys putting out double packs now.
Lunar New Year Pack
The Lunar New Year Pack will be available on the store from February 15th, 2022. It contains two armor sets and two weapons. It also features the usual bird and mount skins.
Moonlight Weapons Pack
The Moonlight Weapons Pack will arrive at the store on March 3rd, 2022. It contains four weapons – an axe, a 2-handed sword, a scythe and a bow.
These items belong to the “Bear skill tree”, which means they will benefit from all red skill upgrades you have unlocked in your skill tree. Reminder: Bear (red) is the melee fighting style, the one that promotes fighting in the open.
Dragon Knight Pack
The Dragon Knight Pack contains again two sets of gear with set bonuses and two weapons. It also features a bird and a mount skin. It will be available on March 22nd, 2022.
This is by far the coolest-looking gear pack so far. What do you think?
The third expansion to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla – Dawn of Ragnarok – arrives on March 10th, 2022. If you pre-order it, you will receive immediately (at the moment you pre-order it) the Twilight Pack. I already pre-ordered it for myself and created the build that I plan to tackle the new expansion with.
The new Dragon Knight Pack is a welcomed addition. For the visuals, if not for its set bonuses.
